PetSmart offers a great variety of pet foods, supplies, grooming services, training, and even pet adoption. We've used the grooming services many times and have always found them efficient, with fair pricing and friendly staff.
The store is well-stocked and has just about everything we need for our pets. The only downside we’ve consistently noticed is that the store often feels short-staffed. Whether it's only one cashier with a slow-moving line or staff helping others on the floor, it can take longer than expected for quick visits.
That said, the employees are always kind, helpful, and doing their best. We’ll definitely keep coming back — just wish checkout was a little quicker!

Brought my dog in for a bath and nail trim on tuesday and didn't have an appointment. Unfortunately they were booked up so made an appointment for Thursday at 5:30. Just went to drop off my dog for the bath and nail trim and was told it will be 2 to 3 hours. I was like pardon, why so long? Oh because I have other appointments...I am not leaving my dog for 2 to 3 hours for a bath and nail cut when I live 40 minutes away. If I have an appointment for 5:30 then I am priority at that time slot. Not another animal. You have definitely lost my business and you can thank Madison for that!

Tuesday December 24. Workers in grooming, are very rude and disrespectful. Horrible work ethnics. Need to hire better people to better represent petsmart. Everytime my dog goes there they come back with cuts and blood around there eyes. My dogs always come back from petsmart scared, shaking and full of anxiety! Horrible petsmart!!!!! Need better staff! Seems like a bunch of teenagers!!!

Worst experience last night. Brought my dogs for nails and was dismissed. I was told I need an appointment but when trying to book online it’s not an option. When trying to book an appointment while I was standing there without looking up or at the computer she said she was booked solid until next week. I will never go back.

Our family is really disappointed in the staff and the store. The store is dirty beyond belief, there are so many sickly and dead fish, they shame people for buying fish if the set up is not to their own personal standard which varies from employee to employee when none of them have proper understanding or knowledge of fish or if it doesn’t fit their personal liking yet they do not care for the fish they are selling at all and neglect them in a way that just breaks our hearts. They have no empathy for customers who have lost their family pets whether it be a dog or rodent etc etc and will only share coupon books if you have proof of rescuing a dog from the spca, other places they do not support if you have rescued from anywhere other than a “Petsmart approved” spca. They gey frustrated when you have any food or animal questions and have no intention on helping past the bare minimum and seem to be angry and hateful towards certain customers which is so sad to see.

Yesterday, while checking out at PetSmart, the cashier, Reem, kindly informed me about my available redeemable points and asked if I wanted to apply them to my purchase. I agreed, thinking everything had been processed correctly. However, after reviewing my bank account, I noticed that PetSmart charged me twice for the transaction.
I returned to the store to resolve the issue and spoke with the manager. Unfortunately, I was told that it was impossible for the store to charge me twice, and that I would need to contact my bank. When I requested to see the transaction history, the manager informed me that the store could not access it, and the only way to verify was through my account. After speaking with my bank, it was confirmed that I had indeed been charged twice, and they provided the specific details of the time, date, and location of the transaction.
Additionally, I noticed that my redeemable points had not been applied as intended, and, in fact, I now have more points than I did before the transaction.
As for the manager, it would be helpful to double-check the situation before stating that I was not charged twice. Mistakes can happen :))
I would like to kindly suggest that in the future, employees ensure they are properly trained on how to apply rewards points and handle transactions accurately. Mistakes can happen, and it’s important for the team to be more thorough in addressing customer concerns.

I was a little on the pricy side.....but I would go back .

We would to thank you “Pet Smart” for a wonderful experience. Our Coco was taken ill and Pet Smart took care of our Coco and also took care of her vet bills, right away…This is customer service and going over and beyond in Service. Thank you so much for everyone at Pet Smart Niagara Falls location a real pleasure, bravo!

Celeste was fantastic! It was my cat’s first-ever haircut and I was extremely nervous about how he would do/look. Celeste made him very comfortable and was able to do a lion cut as requested with no issues. Cats are hard to find groomers for - I will definitely be going back!
