I was in desperate need for help. My hair color was patchy, uneven and I could not manage the length anymore due to carpal tunnel in both wrist and cranial hyperhiddrosis. (Sweating from the scalp) I called here on a whim, I had never heard of this salon before and With no hesitation I was told I could come the next day to see Amanda the owner!
She accommodated me. Stayed late on a Saturday, and made me feel like I was hanging out with a friend. It was nice to have the empty salon (since she stayed after hours) as all foucus was on me. She gives a wonderful shampoo too. The chair was so comfy. The salon is cute and clean. She recommended hair products to maintain the style which Of course I purchased. The total cost for everything was very reasonable and I appreciated that, especially in this current economy.
My hair...It's soo much better and so easy to maintain.
Helpful tips: bring cash. She can take cards, but trust me... get cash out prior if able it'll be easier for you and the salon.

Amanda did such an absolutely amazing job with my hair. I wasn’t even sure what to do for a black tie wedding I had to attend and she nailed it. I would recommend Shine Studio to everyone. If you want great hair care service by people who are just genuinely all around nice, caring and thoughtful, Go To Shine Studio. Amanda is my favorite stylist!!

You want a NIGHTMARE experience? Go to Shine and let Amanda the owner do your hair. The first photo was my hair when I started and I should have just left it alone! The second pic is my hair after my “perm”. Then she put me in a hair drier, put curl cream in my hair that she ADMITTED should not have been applied to a FRESH perm and then curled it at 400 degrees. So not only did she put heat on a fresh perm, but she also added product that shouldn’t have been applied also. Well the next day, my “perm” started straightening out. That being said, Amanda did refund me 50% of my $200 while dancing around the fact that she screwed up royally and passive aggressively trying to blame me even though I followed her aftercare instructions to a “T” and did not touch my hair for 48 hours. However, Now my hair is right back to how it was when I started, except extremely damaged and FALLING OUT EXCESSIVELY. The clump of hair in the picture is from ONE SHOWER. I don’t know how this lady calls herself a hair dresser because I have never in my life seen anyone experience something like this over something that has been around for decades. I will NEVER go back and I would recommend no one let this girl touch their hair.

I went to see Mary and she did a great job on my hair. My hair is quite long and was half blonde half natural gray. I explained that I wanted it to be all gray since I am tired of having to redo my color every 6-8 weeks. My hair is now exactly what I wanted and it looks completely natural. My makeup looked like Rocky horror picture show and my hair was supposed to be curly half up for my wedding it was not even curly I will never go there again it was the most important day in my life and thanks to them I looked horrific. Never again
