The employees here are the nicest, most helpful people!! For truck and trailer rentals and storage lockers, U-Haul is the best company for that in America! ??P.S. it's not possible to "KEEP IT IN THE GREEN"

This place doesn’t even deserve one star.I went there to make a reservation for one way truck and a car carrier for my move. The person who was helping me was extremely miserable, didn’t even welcomed me but made me feel guilty for going there to give them a business. He didn’t explain anything whatsoever. I tried to have a conversation as much as possible so he wouldn’t screw me up. Meanwhile there was an another employee in the store who kept using the F word while customers were inside. I made the reservation and they assured me there will be a truck and a car career available for me on the date I need. That’s why reservations are for right ?A day before I was supposed to get the truck I received a phone call from another miserable representative who informed me that location had no vehicles available and I needed to drive 45 min to another location to get it. I asked I made the reservation with the Niagara Falls location so if they could bring the truck to that location since it was inconvenient for me. She said “ we made the reservations only 3 days prior and since you requested one way this is what we have” with an attitude of take it or leave it. I informed her I wasn’t aware their policy and questioned why it wasn’t disclosed with me but she didn’t bother explaining me anything. I said fine if that’s what I have to and she said “people drive to the south to get the trucks” like I should feel lucky now ? I called customer service, didn’t get any help either. So I called the Niagara Falls location. Another miserable employee answered the phone and said “your reservation is not in this location”. I asked for the manager and he said he wasn’t in and call back tomorrow. By the time I already wasted like 2 hours on the phone when i was supposed to be packing.. I went to the pick up location next day, the lady was so kind but she screwed me up for choosing me a drop of location for the car carrier which is closed during the weekends. Here comes another effort that I had to spend to fix. On the day of moving I called this location and reminded them they promised me to load the car on the car career at this location since I wasn’t interested to drive back and forth to the further location. John, the manager, wasn’t happy and I insisted they had to help me with that. After talking to John, I wasn’t surprised why the rest of the team wasn’t any professional… if the manager treats customers that way, what can I expect from the rest of the team ? He had the audacity to tell me “ come here and if we are not busy we will help you”. I said no, that’s why I’m calling and making an appointment. He then said “ you know there is a $20 fee right ?”. Like that should change my mind ? I made the appointment hoping they would help me.. when I went to the location to load the car, the guy was like your reservation wasn’t from here.. I’m like you gotta be kidding me! I told him I talked to the manager and he was aware of it, I made a reservation. He then came out and loaded the car ( mind you there was no single customers inside). Like literally every single employee has an attitude there! Moving across the country is stressful enough and Uhaul just made it way harder for me. Zero customer service, zero professionalism, zero sympathy . I used this location before to move within town and it wasn’t inconvenient that’s why I went back to them. If anyone needs a one way truck take your business to somewhere else.

It was not my intention to go to the location in Niagara Falls. I was under the assumption it was in Buffalo . Its pretty far from me but absolutely worth the drive.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The 2 ppl working both went above and beyond to make sure I was accommodated with my many needs; unit size and accessibility. My building where my unit is located was well lit and clean. ??Both Chloe and Josh were exceptional and that alone makes the 10+ mile drive worth it. My unit is perfect for everything I need (except electric outlet) and I’m quite pleased with everything altogether

Absolutely awful! They had 1 of 3 employees who were actually solid. That was Chloe. Great customer service. Unfortunately, she has a GM who isn’t nearly as good and a new guy that cared more about his phone than helping the customer.I had to pick up at this location because I was diverted from the Main st Buffalo location for no reason at all. I get out there and speak with the GM. He’s going through my charges. I’m there to pick up a 10ft truck with an auto transport. In the recent years, I’ve had 2 other auto transports: 1 in Boerne, TX and 1 in Farmington, NM. Both were solid rentals. I go to pick this up and the GM asks me if I’d like to pay $20 to help load the car. Apparently at this location they charge you $20 just to guide you up on “their” equipment to hook your car up. I laughed out loud. I’m not hooking it up. That’s not my equipment. I don’t know the ends and outs of that trailer.I drove the truck back to the city to load the truck. I then drove the truck back to Niagara Falls to pick up the car. In between that time, I contacted a supervisor with Uhaul Customer Service. They understood that the store was supposed to help me guide the car up and then hook it up. They opened up a dispute to send to mgmt.I got to the store and spoke to Chloe. I misunderstood Chloe and thought that the $20 was for them to drive my car up on it. I under the charge for that. She refunded my money. Now to the newer guy working there. Beyond lazy. I drove the car up to the ramp. The ramp wasn’t straight. He turned his back to me as I was driving the car up. I hollered to straighten the ramp. He did so. Then he turned his back again. If my car falls off the ramp, that’s major frame damage. I asked Chloe why he wasn’t helping. She said that was what the $20 was for. I about came unglued. She tried to have customer service put it back on my card. I was mindblown as that is basic customer service. She was put on hold forever. Instead of waiting, she did what she should have done. She guided me up with excellent service. The guy who was supposedly new, was off playing on his phone. She hooked me up and all was good. No other store had ever charged me for something so stupid. You rent equipment. They guide you up and down. It’s a basic principle. I will use a different company going forward. Stay away from this company. They are extremely shady!

I have used this U-Haul company at least eight times in the past year. Very inexpensive available almost every single time I needed one they read like school buses but they get the job done. Always extremely friendly staff. Very clean vehicles. Never an issue

Would give 0 stars if possible. My family has a cross country move this weekend (7/31/2022) that we booked a reservation for three weeks ago (7/10/2022), with the rental pick up scheduled for Sunday. I understand it’s end of month, but it’s for job transfer with hard set dates. We were notified today (7/29/2022) that there are no trucks available within a 300 mi radius. According to your regional coordinator office, such a notification is all you need to do per your policy. Shame on me for not reading the fine print. We need to leave on Monday (8/1/2022) but we are now stranded with very few, very expensive options. Do not trust UHaul for your moving needs. They do not follow through. Learn from me an avoid this stress.Lastly, I would love to say that we’ll never use Uhaul or it’s services again, but your policies have prevented us from using your services in the first place.

I have never had a problem with the staff. I use this branch often for packing boxes and accessories. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Always help me put items in my truck.

I was sold a dolly and the wheels fell off. I get in the truck and it seems super low AND the gas tank is at a quarter of a tank and I haven't even gotten started yet.

Extremely helpful from beginning to finish. Had previously visited a terrible store in downtown Buffalo, and was sent here. this location went above and beyond for me, from the truck rental, to returning some items I had not used. Truly exemplary in customer service!

If you can place orders for rentals , Storage and cancel orders on line it doesn’t make sense that you can’t cancel them. I’ve had a storage unit for two months. I found another place so I took everything out of my storage on 27th of July I forgot two stands I left outside my unit went back a half an hour later and U Haul had already put another lock on my unit . I called on Friday 30th and Saturday the 31st of July to cancel my storage because I don’t need it anymore. was told I have to cancel it in person at that site. I told them I was never told that and that I was out of the country and would not be back by the 1st. They documented everything I said and said they left a message twice telling Niagara Falls NY site to call me back. No one ever called me back.Sincerely, Krista

We went to pick up our reserved Uhaul at the reserved time and upon arrival, were told that they did not have a truck for us. We were told the people who had that truck that morning never brought it back and they had been calling for 4+ hours with no answer… yet nobody bothered to call us and give us a heads up. We were also told it was a busy day so he had no clue we even had a reservation until we walked in to get it… 1) not great that you don’t know what you have going on and 2) when you saw a truck didn’t come back, wouldn’t you have looked to see if it was supposed to go somewhere else? They told us we could pick up a truck at a different location (Kenmore or Transit) but at that point, we did not have the time or resources to get out that far. They threw our move into complete chaos that night. Unacceptable.
