I give this place 5 stars plus. My phone (iPhone ) got literally stuck in SOS mode , trying all the obvious methods on my own led me more frustrated . I first went to a kiosks stand to see if they could fix it with no luck - then to Universal Wireless. There was a female who started working on it ( until her shift ended) but shortly before that a male came up , so for a moment they were both working on it patiently and effortlessly. After 2 hours he figured it out I just wanted to post this to say THANK YOU again and I would DEFINITELY go back to Universal Wireless for any future issues!!!

Fraud . They have a lady who works the desk . I went to make a new account with a new phone . The whole time I’m making an account , theirs this man standing next to me the whole time going back n forth in Spanish with the women making my account. Now 3 months after making the account I’ve had 4 verification numbers sent to my phone. Mind you , the lady never let me make a pin for my account nor a security question , so now I can’t pay nothing online . But I still get these verification numbers when I’m not asking. Now tell me if that makes sense.

I have call this place at least a dozen times, sometimes waiting on the phone for more than 10mins and to date no one has ever physically answered the phone. They are absolutely terrible. This cannot be part of anyone business model.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I purchased a sim card which was $19 on their brochure for a 1 month Lyca plan, but they charged me $34 after activating it (with no explanations about the hidden fees in advance). I then noticed that the mobile data (internet) of the sim doesn't work on my phone, I returned back to refund, but after taking about half an hour, they simply said that they can neither fix the internet nor refund the money back, because the sim card has already been activated!

Terrible service! We spent $34 for a plan only to access internet, but the internet speed was terrible. There were no refund.
They did not tell us the plan (and the sim card) does not provide 4G and 5G services for our phone. We paid for the plan, and there were no refund.

I spent $150 dollars on a brand new phone. Case n screen protector, NEVER once dropped it, NEVER got it wet. It powered off at 43% n didn't power back on brought it into the store. Wednesday 11/16/22 the man told me 2-3 business days my phone would be in. It's now going on Wednesday 11/30/22 n no call no phone. Or answer from the store. They don't answer the phone EVER

The salespeople will sign you up for the phone protection plan even if you say no. This is not a one off, we have bought 3 phones on separate occasions and every time. Thankfully I always caught it right away. I thought it was a mistake the first time. Make sure you go to the carrier app and take it off right away and the $7 for the first month of insurance will be taken off next month's bill.
