“I think Central Ave Pharmacy is the the best pharmacy I have ever worked with. The pharmacist is excellent. You can ask her anything about medications and she will answer you. “Visited this location with my husband-for him. He was in, seen, treated and out in good time. All the staff were friendly, knowledgable, efficient, spent a good amount of time ensuring they knew and covered everything seemed to enjoy hubby's twisted sense of humor.

“I give this store 4 stars because Jason doesn't work here anymore. Jason the store manager is awful to work with. Demanded I cook more pizza then any other company employee, just to throw it away after it sat on the counter. I watched him yell at two 16 year olds working in the deli about having a fountain soda. And when I brought to his attention I wasn't happy he started a rumor and lied about me saying I threatened him.... real snake in the grass”

“The pharmacists and staff at the Western Ave Rite Aid are great. I spoke with a pharmacist there today who ordered a med for me and helped me through the process of using a benefit card. He was so friendly and helpful. I used to dread dealing with the pharmacy staff at another drugstore. I’m glad I found Rite Aid- they’re the best.”

After changes to our insurance we were lured into using CVS for our subscriptions because they offered delivery. After a few “fills” we quickly learned our move to CVS was a mistake. For reasons never clear to us, our maintenance meds could not be delivered and we never were able to take advantage of the delivery service for which we were paying $10 per month. What we did get was non-stop unwanted emails and texts.
The pharmacist at Sam’s called us to confirm that we had switched to CVS and explained that non-controlled medications could be shipped to us for free. We also had the option of 2 free same day deliveries.
Not only did WE switch back to Sam’s Pharmacy, but we switched our parents, who live an hour away. Like us, they have mobility issues and love having meds sent to their front door. And of course they are now members of Sam’s. During the first visit they went on a buying spree. My mother said several times “this place is way classier than BJ’s.” Finally, my father made me set up Scan and Go while in the store because he wanted to scan items like I was.
We can’t fully express how much we value our relationship with the the Pharmacy staff (Nick, Sandy and Mellisa). I mean, come on; Nick even has my date of birth memorized
I think that since 2020, we have convinced a dozen people to get a membership at Sam’’s,
And, all the credit for our loyalty owes to Nick and Sandy!
Pharmacy is top notch. Curbside and home delivery is amazing. We can’t say enough good things about the pharmacists and staff.”

“I switched from CVS to ConnectRx about 3years ago and wish I’d done it sooner. I don’t have a car. CVS’ “delivery” was hit or miss through the mail. ConnectRx delivery is by a vehicle driven by a very competent and pleasant driver. You get to know many of the people there and you get top notch service when you call. They call me when refills are coming due and they always deliver when they say they will. It’s really old-fashioned service in a world that’s lost a lot of that. I’m a fan!”

“I've been with the Hannaford in Glenville for a very long time, they have been wonderful. Tim, Danielle, Techs are stellar. Coreen not so much. Constant attitude ive tried to kill her with kindness, benefit of the doubt maybe some personsal issues but it's been 2 years nothing changes. She seems miserable which causes unprofesionalism. Literally called to check if scripts were filled one was incorrect left me on hold for 12 mins put the phone down heard everything then hung up on me..Shes not kind. As a pharmacist I cannot comment.”
“I have shopped at Price Chopper for almost 40 years. I pay close attention to sales to minimize my grocery expense.
One of my frustrations is the ecoupon program. My phone will not accept the app, so I am unable to use the program.
Many times there is either no machine or a non- working machine to print the coupons.
However, I was at the Niskayuna store and mentioned the problems I had, and the very helpful cashier told me that I just needed to mention the sale price and the cashier can make the adjustment.
She proceeded to do just that, which was very nice and made me happy that the process can work.

“When I called on the phone to see if my daughter could get her prescription filled there that her usual pharmacy did not have Jacqueline was extremely nice and helped me set up a profile for her so that I could get the medicine easily however what I do not like about the pharmacy is that you have to have a consultation even if you already know how to use the medication they do not ask you do you need a consultation? They force it upon you Another thing that I really did not like was when I came in as I am new to this pharmacy, I stood in front of the pick up window where there was somebody waiting to help. She was not friendly at all, she did not greet me and said she said I’ll be with you in a moment and then when I was still standing there, she looked up at me and said actually in a rude way can you go wait by the exit sign me being new to the pharmacy had no idea where the exit sign was,and as soon as I stepped back, another pharmacist yelled out can I help the next person a gentleman behind me who came after me tried to go in front of me and I had to excuse myself and tell him I was there first I was helped without a problem, but I felt like as a new customer this is no way to treat people. I was actually thinking about switching my pharmacy to Walmart until this interaction.”

“I drove from Albany to this CVS as local CVS told that they have in stock what I needed. On reaching there I learnt that the product in stock had expired. (They tried to call me while I was on the way, I called back and you know how painful is CVS call system). I usually get angry in these situations. But I dint. When I reached home I wondered what happened this time. I realized that I could see that they actually cared and they meant it when they apologized. Amazing staff.”
