Before considering a membership at this gym, watch this youtube video of an employee's repulsive behavior toward a member because the member wouldnt get out 45 minutes before closing (according to the youtube uploader/member). Also according to the uploader/member, this employee never got fired but the member had his membership cancelled. watch this video:

The customer service here is terrible. The guy with the braids is rude and tries to close the gym down early. Calls customers d*ckhead, threatens to fight them for recording his outburst, needs 45 mins to close the gym "to clean", says GTFO, follows paying customers out of the gym trying to intimidate Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. Planet Fitness should be ashamed of the way this employee acts. Post your hours that say we close at 9:15. What a joke.

Planet Fitness belongs to the Tivity Health fitness network that gives me access to many health clubs for a combined fee of $29/mo. What sets Planet Fitness apart from most other clubs in the network is their Functional Training Room. It is a private space that is usually not crowded. I practice my physical therapy exercises in there, and my physical therapist is impressed with the results. Another stand out is a private changing room across from each shower station. I do not have to change in front of everyone in the locker room like I do at most other clubs in the network, like LA Fitness and Blink. Planet Fitness, unlike most other health clubs, is open 24 hours/day Monday through Friday; and the club has an innovative app, which has work out videos that track my activity and motivate me to work out consistently. I have maintained a 30-pound weight loss, and my blood test results now fall within normal ranges. Members usually sanitize equipment before and after each use, and they re-rack weights. The club is relatively clean, and staff is usually helpful.

1- Facility well maintained, clean bathroom/shower/locker areas. Including work out areas vacuum on a daily basis as I attend 5 days a week.2- North Babylon location has lots of equipment and uptaded machines in comparison to locations I've been to Bayshore and West Babylon.3- The staff I find very welcoming and when bringing to their attention of a machine not working correctly, they note it and inform me will get a repair tech for follow up.4- Pricing plan, I find outstanding value for hours of operations, great staff, modern machines, clean facility and with additional use of massage chair , hydro lounge body massager (my favorite), tanning beds. Free guest member and use of all gyms in the US as I was in Texas using pf gym. Worth the extra as a black gold member.
