Whenever we are visiting family we stop to pick up the fresh mozzarella and sausage we cannot get at home. Deli, meat and bakery counters are outstanding

People always rave about this place, but every time I try it I am let down.In a pinch, we grabbed chicken cutlet and some sides for a quick dinner. The cutlets were a dry, oily mess. It looked like an oily old shoe. If you can’t execute a chicken cutlet in an Italian grocery store, what hope is there for anything else in that grocery store?Folks on Long Island are generally wealthy, not one of them knows how to cook, so I guess it’s a good consumer base to support a store like this. But it would not cost more to provide quality product for people who do know what they’re putting into their bodies. I will not be returning anytime soon.

Like the convienance of the prepared take out meals in the deli section but lately the chicken cutlets in the franchese, marsala ect have been horrible, very chewy and over cooked. Also constantly no fresh pizza dough available on a late Saturday morning.

I live very close to uncle Giuseppe‘s and usually I’m very satisfied. The last three times that I have been there to order cookies they were stale I thought at first the first batch that I bought was just a freak, but then a month later I attempted again And they were stale . my husband just returned home today with $16 worth of Lindsey tarts which were horrible the jelly inside was hard as a rock, there was no powdered sugar on them, and the cookie was extremely stale. I don’t think I will be purchasing cookies from them anymore.

Neighbors helping neighbors. Uncle Giuseppe's of Deer Park, you have championed that sentiment. When we called with a sense of urgency to place a last minute catering order for 50 very special people, Ivanna took on the challenge to fulfil 7 full trays of hot masterpieces, complete with bread and deserts. 25 minutes later, we were able to pick everything up, complete with utensils. Ivanna was not only compassionate to our needs but maintained a professional sense of confident calm that reassured us that "we can do this" She did not disappoint. Ivanna and Erica and the whole Uncle G"s team was on their A-Game and boy did they deliver. All hands were on deck and when they say it takes a village, we are proud and thankful that Uncle Giuseppe's is a part of ours. We wanted to take the time this morning to thank everyone who made last night successfully possible.

An amazing gourmet market where you can find fresh Italian food. The product range is wide and of high quality. Prices are a little high. There are also tables where you can sit and eat what you bought. It would be better if the employees were a little more friendly and attentive.
