My dad used to have a camp that partially surrounded the property of the church and cemetery. We purchased it in late 1966 from Bill Gregory who had several family members buried on the church grounds. We would go to Mass at the church in 1967, the last year in which it was still open during the summer. We would walk out of the woods in our Sunday best to the surprise of the other congregants. In about 1980, the town took the property and made a landfill. I've never stopped missing it and think about it often. Gregory Kiley
