It’s such an enjoyable place to stay. So much to do - cross country and snow shoeing. I love the bar and dining is awesome. So many local distilleries to try and the bar keeper was very knowledgeable with her recommendations.

We got married here in October 2023, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue was everything that we wanted, naturally beautiful – which made décor that much easier. It was great to have the place to ourselves for the whole weekend, and all of our guests were so impressed with the views. We are from North Carolina, so they also helped out finding vendors in the area to help make the wedding day even better, and they helped us through our laundry list of questions for all things as we prepared. The big thing for us was the plethora of food allergies and restrictions we had with the guests of our wedding. They were extremely accommodating to help make sure that everyone could fully enjoy the weekend with us.We were obviously busy getting ready, so we weren’t able to enjoy the amenities, like hiking or canoeing, but our guests loved it! Every single one of our guests had nothing but rave reviews to say about the lodge and the staff that worked there. They were extremely helpful in all facets of the weekend. We have already talked about coming back for an anniversary to get our chance to enjoy all of these perks.

My husband and I got married at Garnet Hill Lodge on September 23, 2023. We could not have asked for or envisioned a more perfect venue and experience then what we had at Garnet Hill Lodge. We and our 70 guests stayed Friday afternoon through Sunday morning and had an incredible wedding weekend. Nicole and her team were absolutely amazing in every way. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. Our guests were complimenting the service at every meal. The front desk staff could not have made the check in process more easy for our guests staying onsite. When we had to unexpectedly move some guest rooms on Friday night due to unforeseen circumstances with an offsite rental, Ana was extremely helpful and efficient with helping with this process. Every meal we had during our stay was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, the BBQ buffet Friday night was a hit and the reception food was unreal. We opted for the reception food to be buffet style and it worked out perfectly for our guests. The kitchen were more then accommodating for our dietary restricted guests and also labeled and food allergies with each deal. Coffee, tea, and water were always available in the lobby for our guests. Our guests were never bored and took full advantage of the lake, mountain bikes and the beautiful back porch. Special thanks to Patrick for taking 38 of our guests on a guided hike to Hooper Mine on Saturday morning. Even my 86 year old grandfather was able to participate! Thank you to Nicole, Lucy, Patrick, Ana, Paula, Erin, Kristen and everyone else who worked tirelessly the entire weekend to make our experience amazing. Everything from the decor, to the food, to the service, to the facilities were outstanding. If you are looking to have a wedding that is private and more then just the traditional 6-8 hours, I cannot recommend Garnet Hill Lodge enough. Staying the whole weekend with our guests gave us time to relax, talk individually with every attendee and more importantly, spend uninterrupted time as just the two of us. Our guests left saying it was best wedding they had ever been to!

We thoroughly enjoyed our fall hiking holiday at the Garnet Hill Lodge. The Lodge is well managed and the staff made sure every guest enjoyed their stay. The views of 13th Lake are beautiful with the changing leaves.

This is a charming lodge in a beautiful Adirondacks location. The lodge has cute woodsy decor. The rooms are very comfortable with modern bathrooms. The food was delicious. And the staff was very helpful. There are EV charging stations. Perfect location for hiking trips. We would highly recommend it

We had a lovely stay at the Garnet Hill Lodge! We stayed in a family room in the Tea House, down the road from the main lodge. It was clean, quiet, and had a separate room for the kid. An added bonus was the in-room sauna! We loved the complimentary full breakfast each morning. They included fixings to make sandwiches for lunch as well, which is great if you plan to hike, swim or boat in the area, as most other eateries are a several miles drive away. The location is absolutely stunning, with views of the mountains and 13-mile lake. The landscaping at the lodge is very well kept and absolutely gorgeous. I would have been content to plop down in an Adirondack chair and sit there all day, however, we went whitewater rafting, which was also fabulous. The Garnet Hill Lodge is a bit of a splurge, but well worth it!

Beautiful, friendly wilderness lodge bordering the Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area with incredible views of Thirteenth Lake.Nearby activities: Whitewater rafting is at the base of the hill (Adirondack Adventures); Revolution Cycles as well; mountain biking and XC skiing on the GH trails; Gore is 20 minutes away; canoeing, sailing, SUP, swimming, and fishing on Thirteenth Lake.Walkability: The lodge is at the center of a network of trails that go all over garnet hill. You can also walk on all the roads. It’s an easy 1/2 mile walk to the beach. You can also walk to an almost endless variety of hikes, from short (the hooper abandoned garnet mine, balm of gilead mountain, and William Blake Pond) to long (the entire Siamese Ponds wilderness area.)Food & drinks: The Log House restaurant is very good. There are entrees in the $30 range and sandwiches in the $15 range. Venison and fish are typically on the menu, along with standbys like burgers. The eggplant stack is a good option for vegetarians. Service is friendly and efficient. The desserts—especially pies—are homemade. The bar has two local beers on tap, alongside a full wine list. Great place to go for dinner if you are in the area.

I was recommended to visit this place and thought I'd start the day there with a hearty breakfast. Well, turns out that they (usually) don't serve breakfast to anyone other than guests, and I was not. However, the very sweet hostess went to the back, talked to the chef and I was seated and served with a smile.Thank you so much for your hospitality, especially when you did not have to do that. That is a great example of customer service at its best. I will definitely reserve a night or 2 the next time I'm in the area.If you're looking to get out of the fray, come to Garnet Hill and basque in the surrounding natural beauty.
