Deerwood Golf Course is a well-maintained and enjoyable municipal golf course that many players consider a hidden gem. The course is in great shape and offers amenities comparable to larger golf courses. It features two courses: the shorter and tighter Fawn course, and the longer, more open Buck course, both providing fun and challenging rounds. The course looks especially beautiful during sunset with later tee times. Staff members are generally courteous and friendly, contributing to a positive experience, although some reviews mention occasional issues with staff attitude. The course has been noted as tricky, with some fairways and greens showing signs of wear, including trenching, potholes, and areas under repair, especially given recent lack of water. Despite these minor flaws, many players find Deerwood to be a fun and worthwhile place to grow and learn their game. The facilities and employees are praised for their quality, and the overall condition of the course is considered one of the best among municipal courses. With some improvements, Deerwood could become an even more outstanding golf destination.
Accessible, affordable and a well kempt golf course. Offers a nice selection of three 9-hole courses, each with their own character and various challenges, including dog legs, water hazards, sand traps and long par 5's. Golfers may mix and match to create multiple unique experiences. It is, however, lacking a driving range.

Nice kept course, but no sign of course marshals. Overbooked to the maximum possible. 4 groups piled up on a hole 6 on a Wednesday at 12pm. Should not be like this.

Good course. Decent fairways but greens are actually nice. Course lay out is alright.
