This pharmacy is like a very pleasant step back in time. The staff are very caring, accommodating and comfortable to be around. And I love that they carry the local artist’s works. Highly recommended.

This is one of the last independently owned drugstores on Long Island. I don't live near it, so I don't get my family's prescriptions filled there, but I do buy gifts there and am never disappointed in what they carry.Christmas would not be Christmas without doing some shopping there. They carry some beautiful drawings of local lighthouses on navigation paper (I guess what the paper is called). The drawings are wonderful and I've purchased a few as gifts, as well as a few for us! Framing them somewhere is an additional cost, but everyone who received one of these is delighted and loves showing it off when people visit them.I've also purchased some beautiful birdhouses there as gifts and each year they have tons of wonderful t items to look through and buy.I find the staff very helpful and the only problem I did have was with one of the people whom was hired to give covid vaccines. He was very full of himself and not helpful whenever we called to set up appointments. We ended up going to Rite Aide for our vaccines and were happy with the service we got there. I don't believe the pharmacist at Jones who was giving the shots was a regular there, but I could be wrong. Also, it's not fair to be very critical during such a difficult time as what we all went through during the epidemic>

Excellent old school pharmacy with a lot of general store goods on sale. My wife discovered an oversized light house towel that we hope to make use of this season on the beach. Great customer service.

Walked in and was met with immediate disrespect by what i can assume was one of the owners, one of my kids takes a water gun off the rack and playfully aims at a friend of mine, who also laughs. Which is told in a stern voice not to “fool around in the store”. Which we respected and proceeded to continue to look around the store, everywhere we went, we were being watched, stared at, and muttered about. Finally one of the male owners goes to the front door gives us an ultimatum to either “buy something or leave, we can’t hang out”. To which i replied “if we’re not being allowed to look, how can we know whether or not we’d like to buy something?” After being met with no response we left and was very dissatisfied with the experience. Very disrespectful staff.

i walked in for an ear piercing and they cut my ear off and told me I need to leave because I’m being too loud but like I couldn’t hear them completely since I lost an ear

They kicked me and my friends out because we were looking in the toy section and they said we have to buy something or leave

Disrespectful owners kicked us out purely off of age. We weren’t even in their for a minute.

Kicked us out of the place within a minute of being in their. Disrespectful owners, we didn't even do anything. They purely made a decision based off our age.

Longstanding reputation for courteous and prompt service, Jones Drug Store was my alternative to a local CVS which tended to have long lines and less than helpful service at times. No problem at Jones. I almost don't want to publicize them because I wouldn't want them to become too popular. They have every prescription I take (quite a few at my age) and they deliver them all promptly when I call for refills. They've been there a long time and know what they're doing. The pharmacists and staff are both knowledgeable and kind, two things I sometimes found lacking in the large chains. The big plus? No waiting time when picking up my prescriptions.

Hi, several months ago a younger sales associate was very rude to me because I didn’t have cash on me. She (in a very mean tone) said the small company cannot stay in business if there is no minimum. We recently moved and I never had a drugstore mention a card minimum (we used to go to RiteAid and another small pharmacy) so I was quite offended not because I didn’t have the $8 cash at home but because I didn’t need the attitude when I was trying to support a local and family owned business. I called the pharmacist who was lovely and he explained she was new. I explained that I am also a small business and while I do have cash some may not during these trying times. He explained that in his years practicing he has even waived co payments which I thought was lovely. We continued going but today another woman (not the same one) told my husband she would take his card today but next time he has to have cash. Really? Why such aggression. My insurance is paying a portion and I always try and stop in and buy something when I can. Do I have to stop at a bank before I stop in because my child’s medication is under $10? Even Lick’s Ice Cream says cash appreciated. I am disappointed in this customer service and will unfortunately transfer my prescriptions. I can handle the minimum but the attitude when taking the debit card anyway is not necessary. We keep cash at home and don’t always handle cash during these days. It’s unfortunate because it is a cute business but the sales team/front of the house needs to learn about customer service. I say this as someone who worked in sales for years.

Jones has everything and the nicest owners and employees! We moved to town recently and it's been the warmest welcome from everyone, but especially at Jones. I can't seem to leave there without 10 items I did not plan on buying, but selection and prices are great, so I cannot complain!
