“We have been taking our cat to Plainview Animal Hospital for years. We love the staff and board our cat frequently there. Unlike many vets, they do medical boarding, which we need since our cat gets insulin shots twice daily. We have tried other vets before in the tri state area (we've lived in NYC for years). However, we continuously make the trip to Plainview Animal Hospital for their level of care and having the options we need for our pet.”
“My almost 14 year old fur baby was taken to the ER over the weekend after going into congestive heart failure. I was told that he needed an EKG, but unfortunately, there wasn’t a cardiologist on call, and they would have to see who might be available to come in.
I knew that once he was released, I wanted to take him to Gold Coast Veterinary. While my dog was still in the ER, I emailed Dr. Blass, the cardiologist at Gold Coast, on Sunday. There is normally a months long wait to get an appointment with him, but after I explained what was happening, he immediately told me he would fit us in the very next day.
I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Blass for making time for my fur baby when we needed him most. He is an incredibly wonderful,
compassionate, and caring doctor, and his kindness during such a frightening and emotional time meant more to me than I can say. I am truly so thankful for him.”

“I found a kitten the mother abandoned 2 1/2 weeks old I spoke with the staff about where I can bring her. They spoke to the Dr's there and called the animal rescue that was coming to there office that I could give to them. I have known them from Queens and they are the most wonderful caretakers of all animals. I traveled an hour from Queens and would have traveled many more hours because of there loyalty to all pets.”

“Dr. Cronin is incredibly caring, kind and humane with you and your fur babies. She's honest, transparent and explains everything to you so that you make an informed decision. She doesn't manipulate you into getting unnecessary things that won't help your vet reach a diagnosis. And if what is needed is something out of her expertise, she will provide a referral to a trusted expert. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Dr. Cronin and her friendly staff. Because it's a small practice, don't wait until the last minute to make an appointment. However, if you need to be seen same day, call and many times they will do their best to accommodate you. This is a great and loving practice.”

“Edit: *Customer service did respond (in multiple ways) to address my concern. They did satisfy the issue 100% and reassured me this is not how they like things done. The way customer service handled this (super patient, empathetic, intelligent and professional) was superb. That and their Vets/vet techs being very good and knowledgeable, I will be staying a customer. Of course in the future I'll make it a point to check on exactly what I want (by name) before I go in for an appointment, so check-in isn't a possible issue... Still don't like how the options were handled , I guess always prep and do your homework.*
They will try to rip you off by charging you alla cart on shots, watch how they set up you package plan!
So the vet and their assistant are always great. I've been going to Vetco clinic for years. I goto the Huntington store on Long Island. The person that checks you in should be fired or at least retrained.... My dog needed only 3 shots this year. The old guy checking me in said it would be $185 for the visit. This is more than I thought it would be. He charged me for the smallest package (rover@ $135) and charged me $45 for the additional Lyme shot. I said that seems wrong, couldn't I get a better package that includes the Lyme shot? (The next level package is trailblazer and is $155, it includes the Lyme and also an unnecessary 5 in 1)This older, rude man said I didn't need one of the shots in the next level package, so he said to take this package plan with a Ala cart add on for the Lyme.... So I say ok. This doesn't sit right with me, so I called vetco. Was told I could've definitely gotten the better package and just not taken the extra shot, saving $20+
I am livid. I requested a refund for the difference, waiting to see if corperate helps me out. Was told this should not have happened. I goto a clinic for shots to save money. This would've been the same price @ a full care veterinary hospital.”

“My fur babies have been under the care of Dr. Barlowe for quite some time now. We couldn’t be more happier with her. Shes the best! She is highly skilled, very thorough and genuinely cares. I love that she takes her time with you and doesn’t rush the appointment, she listens to your concerns and is understanding. Dr. Bartlowe loves her patients.. she gets right in there to help solve the problem and work on a future plan if needed. We appreciate her very much! Always returns phone calls and the office will try to accommodate you anyway they can in urgent situations. In addition Dr. Bartlowe has an awesome bedside manner, very HONEST, compassionate, chill and gives positive vibes. While every doctor here is great to see, my experiences have been primarily with Dr. Bartlowe.
**A huge plus for me is the practice is privately owned, which is RARE these days, it has a Mom n’ Pop warm small town feel that I love. At the same time it provides exceptional knowledge, excellent services, professionalism and care. I highly recommend seeing them.

“I had a fantastic experience at Towne Line Veterinary group with my dog Riley. Riley is 17 years old and was acting very sluggish and sleeping all the time. I honestly thought he might be dying. I brought him in and Drs. Gurtman and Kothari did blood work on him, cleaned his teeth and gave him antibiotics. By the next day, it was like I had my old dog back. He was enjoying his walks again, joining the family in the TV room, eating better and so much happier. I really appreciate the way they listened to me and how much they helped Riley get back to himself. I highly recommend them.”
“Jen was super sweet and helpful! I love coming here because they don’t force you to do a bunch of unnecessary things just to get more money out of you it makes me feel like they truly care about my dogs health.
Edit: I can’t say enough good things about this place every single doctor, vet tech and office ladies are amazing. They were so helpful through out my dogs surgery and recovery. Candy is now back home and doing great thanks to everyone here
Last edit: my puppy girl passed away on Friday. I want to thank dr perfetto and the rest of the staff for showing us so much compassion and care for my baby girl. It was the hardest day of my life and I’m so thankful that they made the process hurt a little less. Thank you”

“I own a Shiba Inu. That should say enough. But, he also has some disabilities after suffering a few seizures. I have been using North Shore Animal Center for daycare and intend to use them for boarding soon as my family goes on vacation. Normally my family members would care for him and that can sometimes be challenging. It is very hard to find service for dogs that need medication daily and that aren’t mixed with the other dogs. As I toured the center, I felt very calm with Sarah. She listened and attended to all of my concerns. All of the dogs on site looked very happy as well . Whenever I drop off and pick up my dog, he is always smiling. It is a huge relief to find extra support.”
