Knitting Nation is a fantastic and super cute yarn shop with a fun community vibe. It is absolutely jam packed with a large and well-organized selection of incredible yarns. This includes every weight, fiber content, and color you could want, from beautiful cashmere and local cashmere blends to brands like Berroco Isola. The very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice owner and staff offer classes for beginners and advanced crafters. The shop provides ideas for fun new projects and fosters an appreciative atmosphere for the artistry of knitting and crochet. It is a soft heaven for yarn lovers.
I just started knitting so I stopped in today to see the yarn selection and ask some questions, and the owner was so nice and helpful. And there are soooo many incredible yarns to choose from—I will definitely be going back when I know exactly what I'm looking for!

What a fantastic store. The owner is also the owner of Jade Saffire yarn company. they make beautiful Cashmere yarn. Large selection well organized. Very knowledable.

Driving across Hudson valley in upstate NY, I was very pleased to find this yarn store with very helpful and knowledgeable owner and staff, and good collection of yarns including some local cashmere blends.
