The first thing I noticed when entering was that people were gathered at the front of the restaurant waiting for a table standing right up next to the food and desserts-which we on a low table-not sanitary at all. Even though it was cold out, the restaurant was overheated to the point of being uncomfortable. Eventually, the heat was lowered and it actually became chilly. The food at the buffet was not labeled so there were a few mysteries and the eggs benedict(?) were runny. The bathroom was dark, paper towel machine was empty and the hooks were missing from the doors. They seem to have a gold mine in this location so putting some money into fixing these situations seems like it would be worth it.

A bit pricey. We were there for brunch. We were three of us and they added a 20% gratuity when it is a buffet!Parking: The parking lot is very small so you need to get there early if you think you will get a spot. There is street parking but it is very difficult at best.

Wildly Expensive! We visited La Fontana on a Tuesday Evening when it was completely empty. Don't think I'll be back...

My friends and I went to the Sunday Brunch this past weekend. We all became very sick a few hours after eating there The health inspector went out today to find out that the food was not being refrigerated properly and we were obviously served spoiled food We will never eat at this restaurant again!!

We arrived hoping to grab a regular lunch. We didn't figure they have sunday brunch buffet until we were seated. At first hesitant, but after trying everything that was available, we walked out very happy that we stopped by and definitely plan on coming back for this specific experience. Hughe reccomendation.

I recently had a brunch buffet at this restaurant with a large party. The food was decent, but not great. There was a good variety of options to choose from, but nothing really stood out. The atmosphere was cool and relaxed, and the service was excellent. Our waters were friendly and quick to refill our drinks and clear our plates. The brunch buffet was a little pricey, but I would still recommend it to others, especially if you are looking for a place with a good variety of food and a cool atmosphere.

We have been coming to La Fontana for decades celebrating New Years, Christmas, Halloween and other events. Our favorite past time was to view the Nyack Halloween parade from the outdoor patio and have a drink. Last night we were terribly disappointed in the way we were treated. We were given two menus: the standard menu with pasta, chicken, veal etc in a vinyl sheath and another menu in a leather bound folder which had other dishes including paella and Zuppa di Pesce each for around $38.95 which we each ordered. We were shocked when we got the bill because we were charged $58.95 for each of these ordered dishes. By the way, these plates were not that great with 2 scallops, 2 shrimps and some empty mussel shells over rice (Paella) and pasta ( Zuppa di Pesce). No way were these $59 plates. When I brought this up with the waiter and then the manager they said this was the price and that there was no leather bound menu only the one in vinyl. This could have been settled had the manager intervened but he did not. What really upsets me is their denial that a second menu even existed. They claimed that the leather bound folder was the wine menu which may be true but there was definitely another one with food items listed in the same leather bound folder. How would we have known that these dishes were even an option had it not been documented in some form ? I hope the owner is reading this review. He has lost long standing and loyal patrons.
