The store has been recently refreshed and reimagined, feeling airy and light while maintaining its many staples and friendly faces. It remains a go-to shop for beautifully female items, home decor, and gifts. The new owner has done an amazing job making it her own, and the staff is there to help find the perfect item. A trip to Nyack is not complete without a visit to this amazing store.
This is my favorite store to shop for gifts (and for myself😄). You can tell that a lot of thought and care goes into choosing what they sell and it is all displayed so beautifully. The people that work there are kind, helpful and give good vibes.

A beautiful shop with thoughtful taste, delightful staff and amazing community spirit. We are so lucky to have By Land and Sea as our shop neighbors - when a customer is looking for something we don’t have we send them to By Land, and they do the same for us. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
