I called same day for a pre-purchase used car inspection from a local dealership. They were not only courteous, professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and down right good folk. They walked the line inspecting the car with the salesman with me. A+++++++ wouldn't be enough!

I started using Nyack Auto Repair in the past couple years for NYS inspections and ordering and installing new tires following a bad experience at one of the local chain stores. Everyone in the shop is a pleasure to deal with. Today I dropped off one of our cars because the brakes had been making some intermittent noises and didn't want to take any chances with safety. They did a test drive, inspected all four wheels, and made a minor adjustment. They said everything looked great—that it was probably a piece of gravel that got lodged in one of the wheels for a few days. They also refused to accept any payment for the diagnostic work.
An honest and professional group of people who will definitely gain all my business unless dealer service is absolutely required.

What a great shop! It was my first time here and they fit me in for an inspection. Pleasant on the phone. Pleasant in person. Work was done quickly and well at a fair price. They let me know of a miscellaneous finding I should attend to, but no pressure. Highly recommend and would gladly come back for more services.

What a great place!! I thought I just needed an oil change. But they checked everything on my car. They found a couple more minor things too. Some aren’t needed now but they told me I’ll need them done the next oil change. A couple just needed to be done now and would have been a major issue later. I’ve had my older car at another car repair shop. They wouldn’t check over the entire car. If you’re a woman who doesn’t know anything about cars then this is the right place to take an older car!
