Couldn’t love this shop more! It is a treasure to have in our community. I was on the hunt for a unique fabric for a bag I was making for a friend’s birthday gift. The ladies in the shop found just the right fabric for me, the recipient absolutely loved it. You won’t be disappointed visiting this shop. The options, customer support and community vibe can’t be beat :)

The Quilt Tree is a vibrant, welcoming store that has a wide selection of fabrics a notions and a friendly knowledgeable staff. They've helped me select fabrics for my projects as well as helped me choose projects that were right for my ability level.
I just took my first class here - and it was magnificent! The teacher was very good and the small class size meant that she could give everyone the attention we needed to succeed.

Amazing place - even more amazing people. I had never sewed and thanks to the patience and encouragement of the fabulous owner and extraordinary teachers (and classes), I’ve made 4 quilts and am working on more! Every time I leave, I can’t wait to come back!!!

I love this store! The ladies are wonderful, warm and helpful. I've taken sewing 101 with Purple Karen and it has fueled my creativity ? I'm now in her "Karen's pants" class and learning how to read and use patterns. I will be taking the backpack class too bc honestly this place is so fun and the skills will stay with me forever!

I had the chance stop at this gem of a shop while in Nyack. Staff is amazing and the selection of fabrics and supplies is outstanding. Linda and Maria are extremely knowledge and helpful. Definitely will visit again -- well worth a trip!

This is my aunt favorite store. When she visits us in NY. She loves to come here. She does not speak English yet some how manages to make a connection with the other ladies that love to do what she does.The people are always friendly and very informative.

I love visiting The Quilt Tree! The shelves are stocked with a wide range of quilting, garment, and hand work fabrics and supplies. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The Bernina machines we get to use during sewing classes are divine! As both a customer, student, and teacher I look forward to my road trips to this welcoming and inclusive shop!

It was my first time ever at a fabric store and the staff was very welcome and helpful. I didn’t know what I wanted since it was my first time but really helped me choose what I needed! A place I would love to visit whenever I’m around the town!

Not listened to by staff. Spoken to like I didn't know what I was talking about. Strong-armed into buying four times as much fabric as I needed for a very simple set of curtains. I had high hopes for this place, but I was totally disappointed.Edit (two weeks later): Changed from one star to three. The store reached out to me upon seeing this review, offered to let me return the extra fabric, and were really nice about it when I did. Kudos to them.

I went in for a class to help finish a project today. Maria the instructor was very patient and helpful. I came in with a quilt that I had been working on for 6 years on and off. I had some major problems that needed to be addressed before sending it to the longarmer. She was very knowledgeable you can tell really loves to help others find a love for sewing. Highly recommend this store for anyone who loves to quilt.
