Great modern hotel with modern, arty interior design. Good looking public spaces, spacious lobby and restaurant, outdoor seating. Nice looking rooms, high spaces, and all the facilities you would expect from an up market hotel chain.
Walkability: Not in the center, you'd need a car. Free, extensive parking available.
Food and drinks: Excellent a-la-carte breakfast, not included

Nice and clean.
Comfortable beds. Very expensive and tasteless breakfast buffet.

I booked a room a few weeks ago for myself and 3 others with 2 beds. The room was lovely. We went to check in at the time we were told we could and the room was not ready; they needed another 30 minutes. Fine. The offered us tokens for a free drink which helped. When we walked in the room we were surprised to see rose petals, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries so that was VERY nice and unexpected. The 4 stars is for a charge I saw on my card for $27. When I called I was told it was "destination fee" which included the parking, free wife refreshments like coffee in the morning. I've NEVER heard of paying extra for things like that. Charging $8 for a small bottle of figi I can deal with but that "Destination fee" is embarrassing.

Hey there! A party of 13 was at the bar tonight. We were under the impression that there was going to be a DJ playing and not a house band. The band didn’t get the vibe of the crowd and sang songs that were not getting everyone lively. They were a great band, however, not for the room right venue. The drinks were good, the bartenders were excellent, but I’m not sure if I would recommend this place in the future.

We stayed for one night and had several issues. To start with, the front desk person couldn’t pull up our reservation that was booked directly with Hyatt. It took 15-20 mins at the front desk to figure out what was going on. Our room had an old takeout in the fridge that smelled like stale Greek food. Then, we heard a loud dog constantly barking and asked to change rooms. Our new rooms were ok. Shower did not drain properly and created a big puddle in the shower. Breakfast was decent.
Rooms: Small rooms. Bed was comfortable.
Nearby activities: Lots to do nearby in nyack.
Walkability: Not walkable.

A good hotel in a village. Rooms didn't have mini fridge and oven as mentioned for personal use. Mini fridge was already filled with drinks to purchase. No toothbrush/ slippers/robes were provided. Rooms were okay, but the carpet under the beds were a hazard as anyone could trip and fell from it.
Food and drinks: Have a halal spot 5 minutes away.

Upon checking in I was updated I would be charged 100$ each night for incidentals. While that’s fine, I was not aware the hotel charged a “destination” fee each night outside of taxes and fees that were already paid. The decor in the rooms is nice but the walls are so thin it is literally like your neighbors are in bed with you. Don’t expect to get any sleep if there are visitors staying on either side of you. You can literally hear every movement/word. Bring ear plugs. Walking in to our room the first night there was a stack of dirty dishes waiting outside our room door. I updated the gentleman at the front desk. Went about my business for the day to arrive back at 10pm with them still sitting there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Rooms: I spent my entire night listening to my neighbors movie they had on their TV and could hear every word of their conversation. Nothing like a sleepless night to start a 13 hour drive back home

First off when we got here there were dirty plates outside our room that were not ours. We called and let them know about the dishes which were not a big deal at first and we left after we called and came back over 5 hours later and the dishes were still there. The sliding barn doors to the bathroom do not close all the way. the walls are paper thin and we can hear our neighbors entire conversations. Finally, they include fees that you are not aware that you will be charged for until you get to the hotel.

The good
The property itself is located just off the thruway and beautifully decorated and has a nice restaurant bar on scene. The pool looks nice and has access from the sidewalk or through the bar. The rooms are beautifully decorated although if you look closely to the details of the reno you can see some are cheaply done just to get the aesthetic. The bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size and was clean. The parking was nice but if you came in late on the weekend it was tough to find a spot and the back of the lot is not well lit.
The bad
Our room did not have a fridge or microwave which was challenging as we had a baby with us and didn't have the luxury to heat and chill items we needed outside if filling a cooler with ice. Our ac/heat had a panel to adjust the temperature however the unit never responded to adjusting the room temperature to match what was selected. The worst part that really killed our experience and would make me not stay is there is no sound barrier between the rooms. We could hear EVERYTHING from the neighboring room and room below us. There was a door between two rooms which made the people talking next door at 12 am sound even more amplified. A child screaming prevented me from falling asleep and almost woke our child. The hotel is used as an event space and there was was a wedding going on which led to some late-night talkers. Obviously depending on who your neighboring guests are your experience will be different however if they took priority in having the proper sound barriers this would minimize the disruption and honestly you shouldnt hear people who are just talking or blowing there nose in another room. The lack of the sound barrier between the rooms really made our stay uncomfortable and that mattered more to us than the aesthetics of the place.
Sidenote to management automatic doors would be helpful to guests trying to get luggage into your hotel. Regular swinging doors make this difficult when you do not have help or have a handicap.

Horrible experience at this hotel please avoid at all cost! Customer service is the worst I’ve experienced in years. I attempted to order room service and was totally ignored. After calling the room service number 5 times which ended in message stating the number you called is no longer in service. I then called the front desk 4 times to be routed to the correct number and kept receiving the same message. After some dialogue over the phone with the front desk employee I went downstairs to discuss it further in person. I was told by the employee at the front desk that the music from the party they were having is probably the reason no answered the phone. He then stated the kitchen is now closed after 45 minutes of our back and forth conversation and I was free to order a drink from the bar where the party was held. I told him that was unacceptable and he said there is nothing he could do. He asked if I had Door Dash or UberEats on my phone and I should probably order from them. I then asked for food options in the area and was told about a local pizzeria. After venturing out to get food I arrived back at the hotel and was unable to park due to all of the cars from the partygoers who were not guest at the hotel. I waited in my car for 45 minutes before a spot opened up. Then I was told the hotel does not have microwaves for guest. At the end of the night I couldn’t even get a good night sleep because they have smoke detectors above the bed that flashes a bright white light all night long. The staff at this hotel did nothing to accommodate me after numerous inconveniences. I would never stay here or refer anyone to stay at this establishment. Satisfactory customer service is very rare and you will not find it at this hotel!!!!!
Food and drinks: Room service and restaurant are terrible!

Our room and stay here was the BEST I've ever experienced, and the room was clean and beautiful, but I'm still waiting for my $100 refund deposit.

Just came here for a 24 hr mini work getaway. Needed a change of scenery. It did not disappoint.
Hotel was fine for me. I didn’t have any noise issues, but I was also there on the day before school started so it was super quiet. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. It is off a major highway and there is a gravesite behind the building. But none of those issues affected me. I found a cheaper price online so it was worth it to me.
Nice poolside area with good spaces to work. Nice bar area.
I also enjoyed driving down to the Hudson River to see the boats and just relax by the water. It’s near a ton of eateries and only a few minutes away from the hotel.
I’d recommend and come back.
