“While having to fix your car as a result of an accident is always a disagreeable experience, I have to say that at least Clarkstown International Collision made this unpleasant experience much more tolerable. I have only been in a few accidents in all my years of driving, so my knowledge of auto body places is limited. Clarkstown International Collision was recommended by my insurance company, and although I was wary of going with a complete unknown, I’m glad I took their advice. I found Clarkstown to be extremely pleasant, accommodating, and honest. They also did an amazing job fixing my car. They even gave it a good cleaning on both the outside and inside, when all that was damaged was the bumper! There is one person I would like to single out – Joseph, the person in charge of fixing my car. When I brought the car in, I was still very shaken by the accident. Joseph patiently walked me through each step of the process and never showed any sign of annoyance, even when I had to repeat some of my questions several times over. If I ever have another accident – which I hope I don’t – I will not hesitate to bring my car to Clarkstown International Collision.”

Occasionally I'll try another mechanic for convenience purposes, but at the end of the day it's damn near impossible to find somebody better than them.They may not always be the fastest option out there (though they always do their best to accommodate) but if you want the job done RIGHT with no bs, go to Lou's. Their prices are always very reasonable, and never once have they tried to upsell or bait-and-switch me. They will also let you know which issues are more urgent than others, so that YOU can make the best choice for your situation. Good luck finding another mechanic with that level of honesty!”

“Primarily I went to have an inspection, but I also let them know that there's always a noise whenever it rains or right after the rain. They fixed the noise problem free of charge since it was a minor thing to do. They also let me know that at some point the links for the stabilizer need to replaced. I scheduled an appointment for the replacement and there's also the price on it, which is very helpful so that I'm aware of how much it would cost. Of course I don't have to pay anything until the work is done.Just moved into the neighborhood last year, and will certainly become a regular customer going forward!Services: Exhaust”

Other shops scared me by warning me that the other driver's insurance company would be a nightmare to work with. Columbus expressed confidence that everything would be fine, and it was. They've been in business for generations and I can see why. They know their stuff and are very helpful and professional. Gave me a ride to the train station when I dropped off my vehicle. Tow was going to be $350 for 60 miles (not unreasonable but costly). Was able to cancel and they were very graciois given they were already on the way. Offered $ for their trouble but they didn't accept. The service was prompt in that they got underway quickly. I really appreciated the understanding and grace. Top notch.”
