“Chrysler replaced my transmission twice. When it broke the third time, I brought it to Barrett. Rich called me at the end of everyday giving me updates. He even stayed late one night to get it done becauce we were without a car for 2 weeks waiting for chrysler. Chrysler has still not returned any of our calls.

“I went to the shop in person asking when I could bring my vehicle in for an oil change. I was told it could be done right then. I was not able to stay at that time. Eugene said come back when you can and we will take care of your car. I came back a few hours later and was taken right away. In addition to an oil change, all the fluids were topped off. The entire experience was professional, comfortable and done in a timely manner. This is a great shop and the mechanics are wonderful.”

“Steve Posca at Posca Service Center is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and honest. As a result he is very busy and has a waiting list of people trying to get in to see him.
I live nearby and often see him working late into the night to try to get cars fixed. He has an unbeatable work ethic and has always given us great insight into whether repairs were worthwhile, or if it was time to start looking for a new car.
He even helped me buy and sell cars when it was time to get rid of the old one and buy another used car. It made me comfortable to know the car I bought was one he knew and had serviced for another customer.
He has also helped with vehicles for our business, and has been accessible to advise during a few auto emergencies and walk me through what to check or what to do next, even when I was in another state. So happy to have found him.

After speaking to the people at Four Star, they not only fixed the problem again at no charge. They also prioritized my car and got the parts rushed so they can return the car to me within 2 days. “Came in to do an inspection and was worried whether I might need new breaks. Mavis had told me they had to be replaced last time I got tires there.
He could have easily upsold me (like Mavis tried to) but he just came back 5 minutes later and told me I’m all set, inspection is done and my breaks are fine.

“My experience with Kevin at Closter Transmission could not have been better than it was! My first experience was two years ago either a 2013 Honda Pilot that was diagnosed and fixed quickly, and for a very reasonable price, and at the same time my brakes were done. Because Kevin was so honest and reasonable with that repair, when I decided to buy a used 2003 Volkswagen Beetle, as a fun retirement car, it’s a convertible, ( something I couldn’t not afford in the 70’s) and it immediately showed that the transmission was not in the best shape, I immediately bought it to Kevin, I did fear my fun car could turn into a nightmare, however Kevin had the car for two weeks and didn’t give up until he figured out how to fix the existing transmission and again at a very reasonable price! “So happy with Lambros. My daughter lives in Irvington but we live in Texas. Her car was having multiple issues that she had tried unsuccessfully to have fixed. When it wouldn’t start, I saw that Lambros was nearby. I called them. They said to have her come by. She went over and talked to them. They went to her house, got the car started, took it to the shop, and most importantly , listened to her tell them what all of the issues were with the car. They were able to diagnose the problem (ac compressor) and had it fixed within a day. When you’re a parent living thousands of miles away it’s nice to know there’s a good mechanic that can take care of her car quickly and honestly. Thank you!”

“I was traveling back home to Connecticut from New Jersey and my tire blew out.I called a tow company who could only take me to the nearest enterprise which was closed !Iam six months pregnant, it was late and I was left in a parking lot in the back of a shop rite next door .I called several mechanics who either never showed or wanted an arm and a leg. Thank god I was able to call this place because they saved my life! They got me a tire (from the Bronx by the way) and brought it all the way to white plains where i was stranded. Paul literally got my tire swapped out in a matter of minutes!! They got me home safe with no problems. I am beyond grateful and would recommend their service to anybody . Thank you Pand Ts!”
