The horticulture class is relaxing and so hands-on. It was a perfect experience. Yoga and Reiki were my first time, and it was such a spiritual experience. Jenny's writing workshop was my first, and I loved it so much. I learned a lot. Thank you all for this perfect time with all of you. As a woman veteran, thank you for helping me find myself. “When you go I recommend that you ask for Patricia. She is a very kind person. She listens to you and tries to help you in any way she can. If she needs help, whether it be food or things for her children like Pampers, formula, etc.! ! The only thing I would like is for her to be a lady with white hair. She is very rude to people. I feel like she is racist. She doesn't try to help you..!! That's why I recommend that you ask for Patricia, she is a charming woman...!! I give her 5 stars x Patricia because she helps me and many people. and thank you very much Patricia God bless you you have a good heart for everyone”

“Just taking a minute to leave this review because I just hung up with customer service and they really were so pleasant to deal with. It was nothing major. I just needed help with a service. But I got the nicest woman on the phone and she explained some of the benefits to me. At first, I didn't want to get involved but I am so glad I did. The people that I've met make it well worth it. Thanks.”

“Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!All I can say is that this was the best place to have my daughter's sweet 16. Everyone is a pleasure to work with. Claire and her staff are wonderful people. Their service is outstanding!! The food and dessert is delicious. We celebrated our daughter's Sweet 16 and everything was perfect. From the first time meeting with Claire and booking this venue to the day of the party was such a great experience. They are so accommodating and really helped make this day great for my family and guests. I really recommend this place, you will love it!! Thank you to all at the elks lodge for making our party the best day ever!!”

“Such an amazing place! My daughter has been so happy here. The teachers treat my daughter as if she was there own and she cannot wait to go back every day. She has learned so much, and they were so helpful with the transition process. Very interactive including several field trips, guest speakers, events and more! I cannot recommend this place enough. Over the summer my daughter has not stopped talking about going back to school and every time we pass the building she asks to go to school.”

“Seatuck is a group of caring, knowledgeable people working to maintain Long Island's natural beauty and wildlife. What's not to love about that?! There is a thread of authenticity that runs through each member of this group that binds them together to create a formidable force. I'm impressed with their selflessness, competence and most importantly, results! Please help them save our amazing island and its inhabitants [wild or otherwise!!].”

“This is a multi service organization that provides many specific types of services for the mental health community from just needing counseling,to psychiatric medication management, but most unique is the service offered called "care coordinator " which runs the gambit of handling the arduous housing application process on your behalf to applying and securing benefits for clients and acting as a liason between the client and the community. An example would be securing employment with transportation where the clients otherwise would struggle to express normalcy in the face of a stigmatized psychiatric diagnosis and articulate gaps in employment that would be neither positive nor negative upon application review. Those who are clients are allowed to decide what level they feel they function at so the full time five day a week intensive group therapy of 8 groups a day is in general voluntary and beginning and cessation of group days bears no discipline on the client. The goal is to bring the client to independent housing, sobriety, employment that just reaches the max that SS benefits will allow without garnishing the monthly check. Medication stability is a main focus while counseling is a tool that is indefinite but can cease if agreed upon. The Federation of Organizations is located in multiple locations. One of hand is on Granny Road right outside Blue Ridge Estates in Medford. To initiate membership, you must have a program that has recently done a biopsychosocial on you because when calling intake they will ask for that right away.My personal opinion is that if you need psychological care for multiple years, psychiatric Medication that leaves no time for the failures of say many off label anxiety drugs and need to be monitored on a benzodiazepine then these Dr's will take you seriously. Adderall is also an often rxed drug as you will be required to maintain attention with your counselor weekly but the drugs will bring you through your mental crises fast.”

“Our family raised 6 seeing eye dogs. It was such a rewarding experience for the whole family. To see the puppy you held in your arms "graduate" and go on to lead a blind person around the world from subway stations to airplanes. We always mentioned that the directors, Mrs and Mr Beagle were so helpful with our first retriever puppy.”

“GSB YMCA offers a wide variety of programs and services all day into the evening, including weekends! As a relatively new member, I appreciate the opportunities available for children, adults and seniors. The facilities are clean and staff have been very friendly and helpful with all of my questions. The YMCA is an experience, not just a gym.”
