My cashier Ruby was very helpful with ensuring my item was wrapped carefully and would not break. The store itself is clean, stocked with lots of items and easy to get to on my way to work.

*** UPDATE***
No worries as this pharmacy is still the worst in existence it's just now they no longer take my Blue Cross Blue shield insurance if you can believe that. It is a blessing in disguise because the CVS pharmacy two blocks from here has a more friendly knowledgeable and professional staff than this Walgreens and does take my insurance so I'm happy to switch. 20 plus years coming here and they rarely get it right and always a problem or understaffed. Goodbye Walgreens and hello CVS if you're reading this and you're smart you would switch to.
Pharmacy is pathetic as there is always a problem with customers in front of you and the staff of 1 register does not help either as the line winds down the aisle. I need to switch to cvs a few blocks away as they have 2 cashiers always and seem much more organized and efficient than here. This occurs 90 percent of the time when I come to pick up my prescription and I'm tired of this crappy service.

It's always a long wait. Last time I was here to pick up Paxlovid, it took them 40 min to prepare it. My doctor had already called. So I was sick and had to wait that long. This time I was picking a maintenance med, I waited 2 weeks to come and still it took them 20 min. Service is so slow and mind you, the customers can be sick and tired. Much prefer a family pharmacy than these chain stores.

they scanned something and i changed my mind and told her to take it out. when i got the receipt and looked at it at home i found out that she didn’t take it off and still charged me for it even though i didn’t take the item.

Shout out to the manager/supervisor-looking gentleman working here who really knows how to resolve problems correctly and quickly. One time, I didn’t get the physical receipt from the beer purchased. I had to get it for the mail-in rebate. Cashier girl didn’t know how to deal with the situation at all. This gentleman came up and solve the problem smoothly. Another time when all-service line was long, he quickly opened a line for fedex-dropoffs, and those customers were taken care of in literally dozens of seconds. He def deserves and a raise and applause.

this pharmacy might be in a serious cash shortage crisis. Every month they do not have requested medicine in stock! Most medicines cannot be filled on time due to being out of stock! Most medicines cannot be filled on time due to being out of stock! Even i made the requeat a few days earlier or auto-refill, most medicines cannot be filled on time due to being out of stock! Those are heart medications, diabetes medications, seizure medications, thyroid medications.

I was scrolling through the reviews and had to laugh a bit. I've frequented this Walgreens since the start of the COVID times and do agree that this is one of the worst Walgreens in NY. The staff here are generally slow, lazy, and in a bad mood despite not getting much work done. Like hire one or two eager teenagers who want to move out and that could be fixed. Better yet, promote a deserving younger person who's motivated and treats both their coworkers and customers well! Prices are generally high here and I'm finding less deals here, at least in stock when something's going on. Pharmacy is just as bad, so the poison seeps deep here. It's mostly unhelpful, clueless, and somehow can't fill a lot of prescriptions so it becomes a waste of time. The kicker is the back entrance is often closed, but at least there's a parking spot!

changed the rating from 4 to negative if possible.I started early this year, my insurance dropped caremark so I have to switch to a local pharmacy nearby. Walgreen is the only choice. Every time I tried to refill my medicine, the medicines are not available.The availability is a huge problem here now (it was ok before for many many years).In my experience for the past year, they are running out of cash flow!!! My medicines are the most common ones.

So sorry I went here for a shot. It is a Black Hole and your scheduled appointment time is not honored. The pharmacists truly do not care about keeping to ANY schedule People are lined up for flu shots like it's a Third World Nation being assisted by Doctors without Borders This used to be a decent location. Will never come back. Life is too short for incompetence

The only reason I am giving this store one star is because management refuses to pur the air conditioning on during this heatwave we are having this summer. I can barely stand in the heat waiting for my prescriptions at the pharmacy but the other shopping I need to do at this Walgreen's is out of the question. I will shop anywhere else if they have the courtesy to think of their customers. If they think they're saving money by not using their air conditioning they're wrong,people are shopping elsewhere.
