The Barry & Florence Friedberg JCC offers a welcoming environment with a variety of programs for all ages. The Early Childhood program is highly praised for its caring and supportive staff, making it a favorite for young children and parents alike. The youth basketball program, led by coach Larry, is noted for its excellent instruction, with coaches who genuinely engage with the kids and focus on teaching skills like running, dribbling, and shooting. The JCC also hosts enjoyable group workout sessions and trips, such as a recent visit to NYC. While the inside is nice once you get past the front door, some visitors have experienced unhelpful or rude treatment at the entrance. Overall, the JCC is appreciated for its programs and community atmosphere.
My son attends the Long Beach JCC Early Childhood program and LOVES it! The staff there are so caring and supportive to not only him and his classmates, but the parents as well.

We had a wonderful time on our trip to NYC. The small group work-out sessions on Monday afternoons with Jackie are great!
