“I am so grateful to have found this place to meditate. Before coming to this place I was very lost in my own problems and tensions which was taking all my concentration away while doing any task ;be it studying, going to work, watching tv, etc and would get angry or irritated quickly about things and I knew I had a lot of healing and understanding to do but couldn’t on my own. But, when I came here I began to be more understanding towards people around me, allowed myself space and healing. I will continue meditation as it has helped me in most aspects of shaping my nature toward myself and people around me. I am so so grateful to teacher Sunhae. She is amazing as she listens to you and helps you go forward so that you never have to feel lost while meditating. A teacher like her and Anna are amazing when you have a long way to go in your life.Thank you to Bayside Meditation and to the teachers.”

“My children enrolled, because it was the only place that I was able to find that offered basketball for school aged children during the dondumbic. Coach Jackson is excellent! For the summer they also offer instructional classes 6 days a week (different sports), that my sons can join in on, and they fall under the umbrella of the nominal monthly fee that's already paid for. The facilities are clean, well kept, the people who work there have good attitudes, and my boys look forward to coming as often as possible!!”

“Had a 70th birthday surprise party here and it was perfect! We booked this location for the inside/outside combo and it did not disappoint. We paid to have use of the outdoor area/bar (TV included for Sunday Football!) and had a band play. The tents outside were big enough to hold guests under during a brief rain and the grass area was amazing for the kids to run around and play. Linda was very easy to communicate with and our guests are still talking about how great it was.”
“I really love this place. The owners, staff are really friendly and personable. The layout is great inside. There is constant turnover of items from Little knick-knacks to old antique furniture. They have a nice collection of durable medical equipment such as shower chairs, two benches, raised toilet seats, walkers etc. I highly recommend a visit to this great place.”

“I sterilized Ami kitten in this place, the price is very reasonable, they gave her to me the same day and she was super good with her wound, there was almost no blood and I didn't have to go back to remove the stitches, they dissolved on their own after two days, she was as if nothing was wrong. Of course, she had her recovery gown and a lot of care on my part. I feel that the staff did this with a lot of love since she had a very quick recovery. I thank them and I definitely recommend it.”

As a natural nurturer he knows just how to lean in with the right amount of TLC. The outpour of phone calls, text messages and meals not only fed my family as I underwent surgery it ushered in a sense of peace which allowed me to heal. “Pal-O-Mine Equestrian and The Theresa Foundation go back a very long way....I had the distinct privilege of being one of their first honorees over 20 years ago. We have had a beautiful relationship since then. The Foundation has consistently supported our children with disabilities year after year by providing scholarships to them. These scholarships allowed hundreds of children to attend equine classes at Pal-O-Mine and as a result these children have thrived. Collaboration in the not for profit world is of the utmost importance, especially on Long Island, and we are honored to be one of the Foundation's grant recipients for all these years.”

“Two of my children attended this wonderful program. It is outstanding. It is an extremely warm and nurturing environment. The staff are licensed and experienced. The facility is very clean and safe for children, the classrooms have a lot of natural light with large windows in each room, and are also very spacious. The class sizes are small. I loved that there was an American teacher as well as an Israeli teacher in each class. My children learned a lot of basic Hebrew as well as the English curriculum. The art program and after school programs were excellent. The playground area is large and clean. Additionally, I loved the large, bright interior space that the children play in when there is inclement weather. My children loved going to "school" each day. They both have maintained friendships with the children that they met in preschool.(I have an older child who went to another program as we lived in a different area at the time. I thought my older one went to a great program. However, after experiencing the two programs, I recognized special and unique qualities of the SRJC ECC.)”
“Our family had a great experience with New Beginnings. We had adopted our first son from South Korea, and then the agency was closed. Wanting to adopt again from South Korea, we were fortunate to find New Beginnings. Pauline was so helpful throughout the long process and the planning of two trips to Seoul. Our second son has now been home 6 years, and he is a joy!! I would definitely recommend New Beginnings to other families who want to adopt.”
“I adopted my 2 fur babies through your organization and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much for the work you do in rescuing and finding good homes for dogs in need. The fosters are great and very helpful. I understand you must be careful in finding the right home for each dog since they all have different needs. I’m single and live with my mother, you helped me find the right dogs to love and care for. They needed someone to be home and my mother is who is home with them while I’m at work. So this was the perfect match, I’m happy and my babies are happy, since they are never alone. Once again, thank you so and your wonderful fosters for taking the time in finding the right home to every rescued dog.”

Through their confidence and leadership tutorial skills, it made my daughter feel more empowered and exhibit self confidence which I have not seen previously. I am beyond grateful for the strides my daughter made in a short period of time, through Femcho, attention to detail and compassion,with confidence building.They are nothing short of amazing. I had done a lot of research for a place in the area, and Bridget was very patient with all of my questions. I found this place to be very affordable, great food, friendly staff, and flexibility with contract. I would definitely recommend American legion!”
