This trip to Costco was necessary because my local recycling spot stopped accepting the Kirkland brand water bottles. Since this was my first time returning water bottles here. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many recycling machines. All of which were working. This eliminated any possibility of having to stand on line. There is an attendant there ready to assist if needed. I emptied 2 large black bags in record breaking time. Unfortunately I found out you can't use the bottle return tickets at the register when making a purchase. To redeem your slips take them to the returns counter. This is now my go to for recycling as well as bulk buying. Thanks Costco! From now on this is where I will be returning all my recycling.

Horrible customer service. The store is a typical Costco. If you need customer service you're out of luck. No one cares. It's a job where you stand behind a counter and shake your head no.

TIRE SERVICE NOVEMBER 2023. Parked my car at Costco and noticed that all the tire bays had a car UGH!! Got to the tire counter at 6:20PM. Waited 10 minutes for someone to show up. Couple of people ahead of me; 1 guy waiting 30 minutes for someone to come out!!!! He took care of the couple of people ahead of me and he told me that my wait will be close to 2 hours. I told him that I originally had a Monday appointment and that someone called me to reschedule because they didn't have enough people to service my tire. He knew that this 6:30PM appointment was very important because my warranty states that I must get my tires repaired at Costco or my warranty is void. I told the Costco employee that I am up at 5am and work until 5pm and didn't expect to wait for my car for 2 hours. After this appointment I need to go home and do more work. He suggested I speak to a manager, which I did. Told them that this is ridiculous and even showed them a YELP review very similar to my experience. They gave me a $50 Costco gift card. Whoopi!! SO MAD! Still at Costco at 9PM!!!

I could forever sing SO many praises about the optical department here! After being quoted somewhat outrageous prices for glasses & contacts at a mom and pops shop, I decided to give Costco a try. Scheduling an appointment for Saturday was seamless - super easy, all thanks to Dr. Franks who was super responsive. Dr. Franks is AWESOME - by far one of the most pleasant optometry appointments I've had. He's quick witted and genuinely cares about his patients. I've had optometrists push for the highest prescription they can give me, but he patiently explained why it may not be the best approach, and offered sound advice on how to care for my vision. Following the exam, Glen made it incredibly easy for me to place an order for both my contacts & glasses. I really appreciate how he took the time to check for price differences when applying my insurance benefits. To be honest, I didn't love the variety and selection of glasses offered here, but it's decent. And overall price? Almost a third of what the mom & pops shop quoted me. Incredo Definitely will be returning for eye exams here year over year! So glad to have received care from this great team, and would highly recommend to others as well.

Kirkland brand is actually the most popular brand in America . The Costco store brand actually improves on food items ...take the S'mores as an example .

I've got gas from this Costco. They have a gentleman, Thomas, assisting people. As I pulled up he was being verbally abused by some A..hole woman because he asked her to move forward to make room for customers behind her. I'm disabled and needed his assistance and he couldn't be more polite after the verbal assault. I called the manager and told him of what I heard and to back Thomas up, if she called and falsely accused him of something.

BEST COSTCO IN THE NYC+ AREA This is hands down my favorite Costco location and by the way that the parking lot is always full, I am not the only that feels this way. It's the discount priced gasoline station, Costco- owned liquor store and great clothing selection that does it for me. I'm at the age where I am okay with shopping for clothes and groceries in the same store. Here are the other points that sealed the deal for me: (1) Ample Parking in Large Lot. Though always full, I can always find a spot to park. (2) Costco Gas. It's not BP but it's legit gasoline that is on average 25 cents less per gallon than most most surrounding gasoline stations. (3) Costco-owned Liquor Store. Many of the other Costco locations in the boroughs have leased out space to discount liquors stores, offering good Costco-like pricing. However, this one is Costco owned, operated and selling fine Kirkland Signature liquor along with the big brands at incredible prices. (4) Always Well Stocked. The inventory is plentiful with lots of deals to be found at every turn even above the published coupons/promotions. (5) Samples on Top of Samples. Need I say more! (6) Great Customer Service. It's always a pleasure seeing the gracious staff about their extremely liberal return policy. Honorable mentions include clean concession with aggressive pricing, pharmacy's below market pricing on prescriptions, expanded seafood section, and reasonable optical selection.

My wife's name is on our membership card which I showed upon entering as usual. After I get in line to pay for the 1 item I have, they told me i can't shop there because my wife is not with me. Took my 1 item and told I have to leave. It seems this was happening to African American and Spanish patrons. Glad I have a BJ's membership.

Nice Costco overall. HOWEVER, Glen in the optical department must be so miserable in life. My husband and I are new to the area and went to Costco for household items. My husband remembered he needed to order his contacts and wasn't even aware of the time or that they close at 6, he showed up a few mins before they closed and glen said and I quote "you have to be mental to show up a few mins before we close" my husband was so shocked he didn't even know what to say. That is not something you say to a customer. He could've nicely said I'm sorry but we're closed. That's all. Don't be an asshole because you hate your life Glen.

I don't even know where to begin. The fact that they don't have any isles labeled so you have to physically go down every aisle to waste time to then find out that apparently they don't take MasterCard when on my bank statement it says they took my fucking money, but this uneducated employee that was working refused to let me leave with my stuff so now they just robbed me $103.

This is by far the best Costco I've been too. It's never as crowded as the other ones I've been to and the check out lines move quickly. It's pretty clean and well maintained. We love getting a pepperoni pie for dinner occasionally and for 9.99 how can you beat that. They even have the gas station with the great prices so I highly recommend.

I bought tires at costco because the prices are comparable but more importantly because of the service-rotation and balancing that is offered with the price of the tires. The crew is very knowledgeable of the products they sell, must have an appointment for all services but if you book early, secure an early appointment, you will be in and out in 1 hr for most services. During the installation, i found out one of my sensors TPMS is damaged, they replaced it for $45 plus the cost of tires and of course they asked me if I wanted to proceed with the repair. Today, i took my tires for the balancing and rotation- free of charge and it was done in under 45 mins. Location for me its about 35 mins away from my house but that is as good as it gets for me. Plus they have a gas station. They use nitrogen in the tire inflation, which holds pressure better when temperatures fluctuate in the winter.
