Whoever’s working this morning should know how obvious their racism is showing 🙃 walked in with 2 white friends & the lady decides to only scan and ring up my purchases (the black girl) but let them do it their selves .. Thats funny .

Went to 5 below and was followed at 8:58pm and I was asked to leave the store because they said there are closed. I’ve been to millions retail store including a lot of 5 belows and as long as I’m there before they close always allowed to shop.

I went there today with my two kids and the lady working there race profiled me as soon as I went to the self checkout and automatically started trying to talk to me in Spanish. It’s so insulting to walk into a place and they assume that you are dumb. Never will I walk into here again.

Bought two canvas and some other things from here. They had a larger selection than the one I went to previously. Really enjoyed painting these and their perfume/beauty selection. They have a very small array of vegan skincare which I was happy they had at all.

Super friendly staff. They welcomed us as we entered. I was so happy to get my favorite beach towels today for 50% off. What a bargain for 100% cotton. I love these towels because they dry quickly. They had a dilute selection of back to school as well as every other items that I can't find at my local Five Below. All summer items are 50% off. Run and get the beach chairs.

My recent experience at the 5 Below store in Oceanside was extremely disappointing. I went in to return Series-8 Fitness™ Waist Trimmer and ended up waiting at the counter for 20 minutes, only to be met with a lack of attention from the girl at the front of the store. This individual kept walking away to play with the self-checkouts.
After finally getting the chance to speak with the employee, she claimed she "didn't know" that i was waiting to return this item, which was clearly untruthful. Additionally, when I initially approached her, she asked for a minute, which ended up turning into 20 minutes of waiting. Her attitude towards me was disrespectful and unprofessional, leaving me with no choice but to leave my item on the counter and walk out without my money.
It's disheartening to encounter such poor customer service and lack of respect for customers' time. I hope that the management at 5 Below in Oceanside takes steps to address these issues and improve their customer service practices to ensure a more positive experience for all customers.
