We are beyond satisfied and grateful for the exceptional workmanship and care we received at Furhman's Carpet and Floors! Mike is an OG in this business who delivers quality customer service at its highest. As a home-based business owner, it was imperative that my needs to be heard and implemented, on time. I received this level of attentiveness and professionalism from Mike and his crew. We had two separate crews who installed our vinyl flooring and carpet. They were quiet, and neat, and took the remnants with them. There was a small tweak with the base molding they replaced (yes, I am picky) and Mike was on it. He scheduled the crew for the next business day! Almost forgot - since there was left over carpet, Mike offered to create a runner and mat with the extra material! It feels so good to write this as it's not always easy to find a dependable business in a pinch. We got lucky with Mike at Furhmans! Thank you!

I was in a bind with finding just the right place to replace my uncle's flooring because I live 1300 miles away from him. I called a few flooring companies before I found Fuhrman's. When I did, I immediately felt comfortable talking with Mike. He was very professional, straightforward and accommodating. I felt a sense of trust and reliability and knew right away I would choose him to do the job. He helped me throughout the entire process, from selecting the type of flooring, to the installation, to working through any issues that arose. Mike made what could have been a stressful experience an easy and satisfying one. It's a pleasure using a company with good old fashioned honest business practices and Mike exemplifies that.

I am so pleased and so happy that I didn't return this runner rug that I bought online. It was too big and I really loved it bc it looks like my dog. I contacted Fuhrmans and I was greeted with enthusiasm and optimism. Another store said to return and I should have bought a runner in person.It was possible and it came out beautifull. They also made a piece that I decided to put under my desk for my ?

My father and I had Fuhrman's do the flooring and carpeting in a family property we were renovating. The pricing was accurate and reasonable for the excellent quality workmanship we received. We are very pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend and use them in the future.

Mike and his crew at Fuhrman's did an exceptional job in planning and providing the material and services for stair and hallway carpet runners in our home.We live in an old 3 story Victorian with a side wrap around stairway between the three floors.From first contact Mike was very professional and hands on.He came personally to estimate the job where he demonstrated his vision and expertise regarding the approach and details.He then provided a timely and very reasonable EstimateWe selected Fuhrman'sMike personally came to perform exact cutting and layout measurements.He then provided and personally supervised an EXCELLENT installation team - What a Beautiful Job !!We Highly recommend doing business with Mike at Fuhrman'sThanks Again Mike !

Big selection, excellent customer service. Michael B attended to us throughout our visit and patiently provided options to meet our style preference and price point. Rare to get such a high level of service these days. Limited availability of samples / swatches, but Michael offered to order them for us.

Well it pains me to say that after so many years of doing business with Mike at Fuhrmans and the loyalty we showed to him and his business most of the time he does not understand the concept of "stepping over a dollar to make a dime" It was so important to him to squeeze out every penny from a nice job we were about to give him when we came to find out from another source for the same material and the same sq ft there was some flexibility in the number. We never negotiated with him before but this time I thought he was a little high. He refused to work with us and when one is in business especially these days in his business when carpet sales are down and hard flooring is up he lost a customer forever because he was inflexible. And this is after I spent much time giving him advice about something he asked me about. We help each other in this world I suppose he was late to that class.

I'm very disappointed to hear that all locations are closing. This location has been in Oceanside for many years and is my (as well as other mothers in town) go-to shoe store for children. Not many places left where you can "try-on" the shoes. Very active children, I have. The sneakers hold up very well through months of regular wear. Not sure where we will go now once the chain closes. I'm surprised that even with the sad state of the overall retail market that they couldn't remain strong.
