Completely incompetent. There’s usually one person behind the counter on busy days so there’s long wait times. They lose packages all the time or have it sitting waiting at their facility for 2.5 weeks before it gets to your house. No parking either what a joke

If I could give 0 stars I would. Lazy staff who make up their own hours for passport services regardless of the hours stated online. Do yourself a favor and go to Lynbrook for passport services.

WORST POST OFFICE ON LONG ISLAND NO PARKING 1 PERSON WORKING & LINE OUT THE DOOR EVERY SINGLE TIME. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I WILL PAY THE EXTRA 5 BUCKS TO SHIP VIA FED EX OR UPS. THIS TOWN DESERVES AN UPGRADE!

The website states they have walk in hours for passport and the center refuses and blatantly lies about not having any. If you don’t want to work, what are you even there for!
That’s my second bad experience with this office. Their manager is so rude and treats you so deplorably . The teller was a very nice gentleman but she made the experience so bad. They need to replace her.

Horrible place to go for any post office activities. Always a huge line at any time you come over, or it’s been always one person behind the counter, seems like managers or supervisors deliberately ignoring the local visitors needs and simply make the things harder for visitors so they could wait a longer time. My suggestion to their management is to step outside their cubicles and pay more attention at people who they primarily work for to service them (us) better. They are servicemen just like cops and firemen. Didn’t want to insult anyone but simply speaking out my opinion. Oceanside Post Office location sucks.

i have been complaining about my mail not going to its destinations for some time now ,it has costed me over 200 on cancelled checks because my cards and bills are not going anywhere either i have to go to the post office or hand it to my mail carrier for it to be delivered, i was forced to do all on line billing which i didn’t want to do . in over 20 years never had a problem until this year, i called left a name and number for an investigation to happen no one has called back . This is not acceptable in any community that we pay taxes whose going to reimburse me the fees for cancelled checks and cards i paid for with the cost of stamps rising .

Why is there 1 person working here on Saturday at noon?! People are completing their passport applications and it’s taking forever! They should replace every post office with a UPS. The absolute worst!
