Old Bethpage location.was a nightmare. Line out the door. One very slow woman working. Another woman stood around doing nothing. She said she was on lunch. Took 40 minutes to be served. AVOID.

Very Horrible experience EVERYTIME I walk into this place. There is almost never any body at the window. Even when I scream and shout that there is a line of people waiting, they take forever to attend to customers, which I feel like even though they seem nice, they do it on purpose. I don't understand how this place can hire people like this that are slow, uncaring, & its the only USPS around my workplace so its unfortunate for me. The worse thing is its EVERYTIME, and the problem is perpetuating. Very unprofessional and shame on the owner or supervisor of this place. ALL of the negative reviews are on point and I don't know what else to do to make a change on this place. Other people should come here & do reviews & bring awareness and expose this place.

I must say, I only gave two stars because of the friendliness of the employees here when you actually can get up to the window. I would have given one star if they weren’t great people.I get it’s a very small post office. I understand lines, I’ll wait usually with no issue. I’m one of the most patient people I know. But EVERY time I come to this post office there is only one person at the window and there is almost always a ridiculous wait to SIMPLY drop off a prepaid package.PASSPORT PROCESSING.Today there was actually TWO employees and BOTH EMPLOYEES WERE DOING PASSPORTS. Line building. Getting longer. Elderly lady who is next is asking if she can please just send her envelope, and she was told she has to wait for the family of five and family of three to finish their passport process.I understand maybe the passport clients had appointments, but for the love of Christ if you’re going to have two people working PLEASE keep one person open for shipping and the other available for the incoming passport appointments. It seems like a simple concept. I’m assuming there were two people working to avoid the long line that usually wraps around the store. I literally stopped coming here because of this.My daughter had dance so I figured I could run over quick and hopefully be quick enough to be back to the other side of the parking lot within an hour. I was shocked to see two employees, then just INSTANTLY annoyed to see the clients just wanting to be in and out just standing there, then me standing there, then two more behind me - all wanting to ship or mail something. Twenty minutes. Gave up! I left.GET A SELF SERVICE POSTAGE MACHINE IF YOU'RE GOING TO TURN INTO A PASSPORT ONLY STORE PLEASE!!!! I’m sorry but I have to go elsewhere from now on. I don’t know if it matters to anyone, but I know I’m not the only local person who cannot stand this and the way this place is run. Please make common sense adjustments.Hoping someone sees this and makes changes!!! Again, employees are great once you actually end up at the window to get help. Unfortunately I hardly make it that far as I don’t have hours to stand there waiting for passport applications.

Two attendants working on one passport appointment. I have been waiting on line for an hour and no one is being helped. We keep getting told to wait. They should inform the public they are closed and designate passport hours if they refuse to serve any other customers. I have never been blatantly ignored by an establishment that claims to be open.

The Old Bethpage location is greatly understaffed but the lady behind the counter does her very best to please all of the customer needs as much as she can. Thumbs up for her dedication.

This is one of the worst post offices I’ve ever been to! SSLLOOWW uncaring service while I hear many staff on the back just don’t want to come out and help. The line is usually out the door.Procedures need revising!!! Anyone in charge there???

Always a pleasant experience doing business here. Anyone I ever dealt with over the years has been friendly, helpful, and efficient. Just wish management always kept the counter fully (?) staffed with 2 employees. Busy place at times and having only 1 employee handling it all makes the waiting time too long.

I have been using this P.O. for 6 yrs. I'm the first person to tell you when a U.S.P.O. employee is rude, unprofessional or nasty (look at my review about the Hicksville P.O. on John St). NOT this location!!! Not only are the ladies nice but they like to joke around which is rare in this day and age. For the 2 yelpers with 1 star reviews of this P.O. you need to look in the mirror because it's YOU who are miserable and nasty. I'd bet money on that!!!

There is NOT another post office in Nassau County with such nice clerks. There are 3 women working the counter and 1 is as nice as the next. The USPS can learn a lot from these 3 women on how to treat the public so warmly!!!
