About Adirondack Lodge Old Forge
The Adirondack Lodge Old Forge is a hotel with a very convenient location, close to Old Forge without being in the middle of the fray. It is walkable to the center of town and is a great location for the nearby golf course and eateries. The area offers tons of possible summer and winter activities and a great choice of several fantastic restaurants within a mile or two. The hotel is dog friendly with grassy areas and a sidewalk. The staff is all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. The property has a very nice indoor pool and looks well kept from the outside. Rooms are basic, neat, and clean, with amenities like a mini fridge and coffee maker. However, it is an old motel and it shows. Rooms need some major updates, and beds are not comfortable at all, described as very hard. There is no elevator to the second floor, and ice is located on the second floor. Some maintenance issues are noted, such as window mechanisms or televisions not working properly. There is coffee and tea but no breakfast food. The rooms lack natural light without opening the shades. Overall, it is a nice hotel that works for the purpose of being close and dog friendly.
Our go to place to stay when we come snowmobiling. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a.good shower. Can park my sled right in front of my room.

What a wonderful place and great staff. They were there for our needs. Everything was great. I am excited to come back next year. Love this place so very much.
