I really have no words other than rude. They know their location is prime and have no care how they treat their guests as people will continue to stay there. It's reasonably priced and right in town. Would be humbling for them to loose their business. I'll pay more staying at an air bnb then ever booking here again. If you do book, go through third party and purchase insurance. There is absolutely no refund policy the day of. Star rating is required but really is a zero.

My friend and I recently traveled from Alaska to Oldforge for Paul Case celebration of life ceremony. We stayed at Clarks beach house 0F. We have all heard the phrase they rolled out the red carpet for us. That my friends is just what Garret and Heather did. The hotel was booked Full when I checked online , so I figured I’d check in person. Just our luck they had just gotten a cancellation. We not only enjoyed their company, we also enjoyed company from other occupants of the hotel. Super fun time, excellent location you are literally in walking distance for every activity in old Forge. I’ve traveled the world, and I highly recommend the Clarks beach house 0F all of your Oldforge activities . Keep up the good work! We will see you again when the snow flies!Noteworthy details: Walking distance to all of Old Forge activities.

Horrible service the front desk was very rude. It said online the pool was open and it was totally empty when we got there. They refused to give back 1 nights stay since it was such poor service. And we ended up leaving the next morning because of how bad it was. The beds were horrible very small rooms. Not worth the money at all. I wouldn’t stay here

I was just in Old Forge for the parade and to catch up with friends. I arrived into Old Forde around 6:30 on Friday night. The Vancany sign was off however I still went in . I was greeted by a very friendly lady. She had just explained that a guest had just canceled their reservation. I stayed in room 19 which I highly recommend. It's a corner room with a balcony overlooking the Oldforge pond. It is very quiet and super easy access. I was within walking distance of all the attractions I wanted to see. In the morning I sat on the balcony and looked across the frozen pond. no that's the way to start your day. i've been around the world I highly recommend this place to stay..

The front desk is nice until you complain. No Wi-Fi, they should take it off their amenities list, because if it's not working it's your tough luck. And how they let you know one can surmise they never have wifi. No refunds, I would never recommend this place or stay there ever again. The rooms are very musty and really old, Not worth the money.

My Family has stayed here twice for a trip to water safari. They asked to leave the park on our last trip just to go back to the motel and swim. My children only talk about the motel when asked about each trip. My 7 year old learned how to swim completely on her own in the pool here and a few tricks. It's a memory we will never forget. Is the decor a little dated? Totally, but are you really staying somewhere for a pretty bedspread, because that's weird. This place is affordable, CLEAN, and everyone there is very friendly. Seriously, it's very clean. It's a convenient walk to the water park as well as pretty much anything in town. And there really is a cute little beach right behind, which in a lot of rooms you can see from the screened in porch, but is also a 2 second walk. We absolutely will stay here again and again.

My family and I have been coming here every year as a family tradition since the early 2000’s and we have always had a pleasant experience. Two of our kids who are now adults have very fond childhood memories of our vacations here. It is centrally located in Old Forge with a heated pool and a convenient walk to Pied Pipers, the coffee shop, the arcade and more. Thank you Clark’s Beach Motel for your accommodations to large families and giving us 20 years of great memories!

Family owned and operated (they live on-site). Clean, spacious rooms. Prime location. There are a lot of "rules" but, if you keep your head down and your mouth shut, you can develop some workarounds...

The owner is the nastiest person I've ever met. Many other reviews mention her rudeness but it goes FAR beyond that. She's extremely agressive, SEEKS confrontation, and does not hesitate to be extremely combative even in front of children! Just look how aggressive she is in responses to reviews! ?Owner needs to be a corrections officer not motel owner/manager. I would not stay at this place if someone gave me the best room for free and paid me $1000 to stay there.

Location is ideal. Park at motel, walk everywhere. Very centrally located. Standard rooms are clean. They do have an indoor pool. There are lake view rooms also. Air conditioners are extremely loud. You can't converse with others in the room when running unless you are standing next to them. Mattresses need replacing. Sunk in middle. Service was very helpful offering tips on best time to visit and make reservations.

Didn’t stay . They took a reservation from my 19 year old son. After taking his credit card information. They send him a email stating you need to be 21 . When he tried to cancel they said he would be charged . How can you take a reservation and charge a person who is not old enough ?

My husband and I were visiting this past weekend. We came in for the day so we were not staying at this hotel. We were walking the town and I had a bathroom emergency. The public bathrooms were closed for cleaning. We walked as far as we could and ended up at the Clark's beach motel. I walked into the main office and straight to the pool area where I knew there was a bathroom. As I walked through a woman stopped me and asked if I was staying there. I said no but I had a bathroom emergency and the public bathrooms were closed for cleaning. She told me "get out " "these are not public bathrooms." I apologized and asked where I could find another set of public bathrooms. Without looking up from her phone she just said "at the beach." I get it. For the safety of her tenants she can't let people off the streets use the bathroom. I just dont understand why she had to be so rude. As I was walking out she made a rude comment to the girl sitting with her. I won't repeat what she said but I feel like it wasn't necessary. I hope she has a little more compassion for the young families with children that might stumble into some "emergencies " once in a while. I am so sorry that I was so bold as to think that I might try to get some courtesy from the people running this motel.
