“Whether shopping in the store or ordering online, you will have a wonderful experience. The merchandise is unique and top-notch, and you have the opportunity to get one-of-a-kind pieces. I ordered an lake ornament that was designed and created just for me, and I couldn't be happier. Shipping is prompt. Prices are great. And Michelle is the absolute best person/business owner you could ever hope to deal with!”

“This store is always one of the highlights of our stay in Old Forge, love to shop there. Quick story, we came up in Spring they had limited hours and we missed them. The following Fall we shopped there and were chatting with the owners. We told them about coming to their store in the spring and being closed, they gave us their business card and told us to call ahead and they would open the store for us next time. Awesome people!”

“This place is great place to get souvenirs reasonably priced. You can get items like shirts, sweaters, knives, kid toys, candy and so much more. A nice place to stop in and take a look around.”

“If you're driving through Old Forge looking specifically for "Holly Woodworking" you probably won't find it, it was only later I learned this was the name of the business, on the top of the store is a big sign that reads "Woodsy Gifts", so a little issue with branding there. The store is down the street a couple miles from main street in Old Forge so you wouldn't walk there from all the other shops, you'd have to make a specific stop for the store but I think that stop would be well worth it. They have a decent selection of nice gifts from jewelry and hats, shoes, clothes to more traditional photo albums, etc.. They have more locally made items then most of the other Adirondack stores in Old Forge and the prices are pretty reasonable on most of the items. When I went they even had good sales on certain shoes and hats. There was one item I was interested in getting and the woman let me know that she was out of them and let me know they were china made and not locally made and I'm glad she brought it to my attention. I respected her for putting down the cheap stuff she carrys probably just due to demand from some customers, it really just let me know how much pride she took in gelling quality gifts and not putting the cheap items on the same esteem.”
