About 300 miles from home and short on time at the end of our vacation, we asked the motel clerk for auto service recommendations. Howard’s was on that list.
The first place was booked until July 20th, so we then drove to Howard’s. A busy but friendly, welcoming and accommodating employee sensed the urgency and temporarily put his work aside to locate the car problem. He identified the issue almost immediately and within a few minutes fixed the area of the car causing the sound concern. He wished us safe travels in a most sincere way and we were on our way, void of that phantom car sound and, personally, full of relief.
