I absolutely love the View. We own a summer home in the area and i look forward to the art exhibits and pottery classes every year. I’ve taken a photography class from the well known photographer Carl Heinman and even a basket weaving class. Kids love the waterpark but this is my grownup amusement park.
The exhibits are an easy spontaneous visit but classes should be signed up in advance online. The watercolor exhibit is incredible, as well as the quilt show in the fall.

Saw the quilt exhibition and was so pleased to see such a variety of quilts displayed in such a lovely venue. The staff was knowledgeable and super helpful!

This looks like a lovely arts center and gallery! We thought it was a quilt show for buying quilts however it was specifically a quilt art show with an admission price. We just visited the gift shop which was nice. Apparently some of the quilts were for sale however we were not interested enough to pay an admission price to view them.Very nice facility from what we saw from the front entrance and gift shop area.

An incredible asset for the community. Wonderful exhibits, community outreach, and my personal favorite, musical performances.Worth a visit if you’re anywhere near Old Forge. Good stuff for kids, too, just check the calendar on the web site.
