Only 2 things are wrong with this place.
1- no elevator ( I only have 1 lung and it was difficult getting up the stairs.)
2- I was impressed with the breakfast.
That being said the staff was amazing and our room was immaculate.
Absolutely we would return again and again.
Walkability: Water park is right across the street .

Located in the picturesque beauty of the Anderondacks. Waters Edge In is a beautiful place to stay. The service is pretty much like everything else here. Which is to say, a bit slow. Yet all personnel are great people, ready to help with any service issues. It's the weekend and it's beautiful here. Staff here is very nice, room was extremely clean with oversized tub, which is something that I like. More like a studio apartment than a room.very nice, cable, arcade, pool, beautiful view of the water's edge. A small beach, laundry, water Safari and the Enchanted Forrest with big ol' Paul Bunyn. He's kept guard there for decades, since I was a child. Kids and family come here. It's just a fabulous place to be., and priced very reasonable for those on a budget! Other than the paper thin walls. All smiles and stars here.
Rooms: Arcade!!
Nearby activities: Enchanted Forrest
Walkability: Very close to everything
Food & drinks: Excellent

Very disappointed, very expensive for the quality of this inn. Not accessible for people with mobility issues. Rooms in the basement across from laundry facilities, very humid, damp environment, perfect for mold. Bathroom had mold, bubbling peeling paint and rust.

This was our first time visiting Old Forge. The room was decent; definitely outdated, and the furniture was worn awfully. The location was great, and the staff were all great. We would stay again.
Nearby activities: This hotel was located directly across from Water Safari. It was easy to walk to many places from this hotel and not have to worry about parking.
Walkability: Very easy to walk to several other sites from this hotel.
Noteworthy details: Their parking lot is a little tight, so it is hard for larger vehicles.
The breakfast at this hotel is great if you do not have a gluten allergy. Everything they offer included gluten (which I am accustomed to).

We had a great stay as a family of four with one of the lake facing rooms. Can't beat the location, the affiliation with the water park and the included breakfast. I had made a mistake when booking and left 1 day off of the end of our trip. When the front desk called me and we realized my error, they immediately rebooked us for the same room and moved the incoming family to another room. Extremely accommodating and understanding when the mistake was clearly mine. We will definitely stay here again.
Nearby activities: Waterpark across the street, mini golf, rope course, go-kart facility also across the street
Walkability: easy to walk into town to restaurants, easy walk to the beach

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Waters Edge Inn in Old Forge, New York. It was truly a remarkable experience. The location of the inn is stunning, right by the water, offering breathtaking views of the Old Forge Pond and the surrounding nature but also right across the street from Enchanted Forest Water Safari. The room was cozy, with rustic décor and all the comforts one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the area. The staff at Waters Edge Inn were exceptional, providing top-notch service with a warm and welcoming attitude. They were attentive to every detail, making sure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. As far as their amenities, they have a sauna, a pool, and a small complimentary breakfast. It's a true gem in Old Forge, offering a luxurious retreat in a picturesque setting. I highly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

I was very satisfied with the stay here. My husband and I had great sleep here, awesome lake view, and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating to us. The only thing I was bummed out about was that the ellipticals did not work in the work out room. Both ellipticals kept on resetting after a minute or so and would not go through a full work out. Nice treadmills though. But yeah ellipticals definitely need to fixed. I would definitely come here again.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Water's Edge Inn and plan to return hopefully in the Fall. While the hotel is a bit older, it's been maintained very well and is very comfortable and clean.

The hotel is older, and that's a good thing. They've recently sold out, so I fear it will be torn down to cater to the zoomers. Here's hoping not. That said, in a largely unoccupied hotel, and on a Saturday night, 8pm pool closing is a bit aggressive. I'm quite sure it's a staffing thing, but those things can be figured out.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Waters Edge Inn! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and amazing location. They set out champagne for our anniversary and immediately offered to drive us to the beach and show us around town. We ended up walking the rest of the week because of how close everything was (beach is a 5 minute walk). Every morning, they served delicious breakfast that was a culinary delight that set the perfect tone for the day ahead. Additionally, the happy hour provided a wonderful opportunity to unwind and mingle with other guests while enjoying some free drinks and snacks. Overall, Waters Edge Inn (and the kind staff) exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can't wait to return for another memorable stay!

Stayed here after our hotel canceled due to problems. Half the price, nice place, beautiful views.
Enjoyed ourselves immensely perhaps more than at our planned stop.
