Went in to close my bank account and they said it would be by the next day.. Just kidding. Not only did they keep it open, but I was charged twice with fees. Now I have to pay it before I can even close my account, again. Ridiculous.Only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the Second Lady I talked to was nice.Glad I don’t have to deal with them anymore.

An online company stole from me, using my bank card. Initially the bank refunded me. Then I get a letter saying they believe the company (the thieves over me) so they took the money back out! They talk a big game about "protecting" their customers against unauthorized charges and theft. That is a LIE! Don't believe them! They have lost a customer that had been with them for years! They lie and they're greedy and they DON'T protect you!!

I had to order a new Debit card, told them I was visiting my Daughter in Utah, could they send it there, was told yes they could, and it would take a week! Well it took 2 weeks, the first card was sent to my house, second card was sent to my daughters! Went shopping last night, or should say tried to go shopping, but the transaction would not go through! So I went through this humiliation at a store, like I was a thieve or something, had more money then I was taking by a lot!You go through this humiliating time in store. We will have to take care of this when I get back!!! If you changing Banks, be careful of this one!!!!

I have been banking eith them for about 4 years and have had all good experiences. They have caught people trying to steal from my bank card many times and from other counties. Everytime I have asked something of them they have been helpful.

We have our house mortgaged through them, which is great and the only reason for two stars. Communication isn't their best feature... Including when we are about to close on our house and I have to call the bank manager because I don't get a response from Theresa on how much to bring to closing! Instead, they rely on the mail.... We got the letter two weeks after closing. When we arrived at closing, the amount had changed and we traveled an hour to get there and have the check in hand from our bank - - an hour away--and she has the nerve to tell us that we have the wrong amount on the check. Ummm, ever heard of a telephone??? The whole process was beyond frustrating with the lack of communication. Now here we are two months in, still waiting on the payment book we were told we would get in the mail. I had to email her to get a response and she says 'oh the bank doesn't do that anymore, it comes as a bill'. Oh okay thanks for REACHING OUT AND LETTING US KNOW. Nope I am the one that is always doing that. Instead of emailing her back, I decided this Google review might get communicated to the correct people. So frustrated with the whole experience.

I just wanted to say Thank you to Community Bank in general and Theresa Raftis in particular for the outstanding service that was just provided to The Bantelman Agency. As many small businesses have found recently the small business programs that were just established have been either slow in coming or not all. I can tell you that this has not been the case for us ........either way. As soon as I found out programs were available I contacted Theresa and she immediately went to work. We discussed eligibility and moved forward. I had daily contact with her in both preparing for and in completing the necessary paper work for the application process. This is why I bank locally!!! She was with me the entire step of the way. She proofed my application, kept me updated and notified me of the results once the bank was notified. I could never ask for more. Did I say this is why I bank locally....at Community Bank, NA??? Often times Banks get tagged with not being consumer friendly. Community Bank is not that type of Bank!!! As evidenced by there recent actions they are invested in our community and are doing everything they can to ensure we are able to survive the crisis. Thank you again Theresa Raftis and Community Bank, NA for validating the fundamentals of what a bank means to a community I’m a customer for LIFE!!!Joe Bantelman

This is just based on the last few weeks. I have called and staff has either not picked up or have been short and rude with me. I have been leaving messages asking them to get back to me, but have failed to. Sorry to post this review, but you need go at the very least answer your phones.

It is hard to find a bank rated worse than wells Fargo but these guys have done it.they want you to barrow huge loans that you can not pay back or so it seems. My credit has been flawless for years. In fact ever since it was established.5000 dollars was too small of a loan for them but a real bank has no problem giving me 200k. They use any lame excuse they can.if you use a credit card then it is bad it has a balance if you do not use it then it is bad for the payment history.go to a real bank not these clowns.
