I had a bad experience here.
An experience that cost me a lot of money. The owner and the gentleman at the front desk will absolutely give you two different stories that do not line up. I had that experience a few times.

You worked on my truck and car, both and you did a poor job and lied to me, not once but twice, you and the gentleman that answers the phone, you should get your story straight prior to talking to people. The end. Won't be back. Note: John the owner loves to come on here and respond that he doesn't recognize your name trying to imply it's a fake review, but some people's Google accounts are not in the name their automobile was repaired under. Some folks are married and or divorced and blah blah blah... JOHN !!!!

My trailer hitch broke right off from the frame of my old RV while trying to make it back to Oregon to save my kids from their mother. J and R was dispatched to tow the trailer from the onramp. I asked an employee at J+R how much it would be to install a hitch they had sitting around the yard. Never gave me an estimate on installing a trailer hitch on my rv then told me it was almost $800. This didnt even include getting my trailer back that I was towing our car with. I told the owner John that I couldn't afford this and he told me my only option was to pay him $500 and he took the hitch off. Thank you so much John!! You should take the sticker down that says you honor veterans. You really showed me you care and basically stole my disability money and also my trailer. No compassion or empathy for anyone. He had a big yard of rusting hitches and wouldn't even consider helping a fellow human being in need. I would recommend any other place over J+R. They don't care at all about any customer, they just want your money.in my opinion that is what's wrong with the world today

Just a PSA and reminder about this business.
This shop was featured in a vide that tested authenticity + trustworthiness. A brand new vehicle was brought in that had already been repaired by a different mechanic and everything was then re-checked by another mechanic to verify nothing was wrong.
J&R Auto ended up finding a bunch of “issues” and quoted the customer at 1900$ for these repairs.
Avoid this shop at all costs.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Failed my car for inspection, charged me over $100 to recharge my AC and completely broke it, after that they told me I needed $700 worth of work to pass NY inspection. Took to MY mechanic and absolutely nothing was wrong with it. Highly suggest going anywhere else for ANY work on your vehicles.

These people are awesome! Fair, honest, and affordable. They had my car fixed and ready to go earlier than expected. I live out of state and they saved me a 12 hr round trip back to pick up my car. Thank you! Thank you!!!
