We have a BIG Green EGG. Everyone at Rambling Ranch has been knowledgeable and very helpful while ordering parts and dealing with warranty replacements. Highly recommend their service dept. AND they have so much to offer regarding the EGG.

Very disappointed. Left voicemail and also sent email inquiry over past two weeks and no correspondence. I suppose they are doing well enough to not pick up additional installation work. I understand that folks like this are starting to get busy but it doesn’t take much to return a call or email. My 6 guys and I cover pipeline in 47 counties in PA, NJ snd NY and can return calls. Was hoping to hear from them as they got good reviews.

In the end the project turned out good but there is a few things that need to be improved on before I would even consider hiring Rambling Ranch again. Preconstruction/scheduling 1. The project was originally planned for a full week so our work schedules were modified accordingly. The project ended up taking 2 weeks 2. The weekend prior to construction start we received a call to let us know they wouldn't be able to work Tuesday (day 2) because they needed to finish another job. Again our schedules were arranged to accommodate a (1) week timeframe. We noticed multiple times throughout the project where Chris disappeared to finish other projects or provide quotes to potential new clients. Construction 1. No temporary protection was provided so we had scratches on our wood floors. Our floors are old and worn so this was not a big deal for us but may be a bigger deal for others 2. They used our scaffolding inside and we noticed dings and dents in our wood vaulted ceiling and window trim from them moving the scaffolding around 3. Some of the staff was extremely unexperienced 4. During the masonry portion of the project there was a grey dust layer left over the entire house. No attempt was made to contain the dust. Post Construction 1. Rambling Ranch was notified the day the project was finished that we weren't happy with the look of the sides of our new stove and that the grout in the hearth had already started cracking. The stove was painted after being set into place because there were scratches and blemishes all over it because it was placed in the project area prematurely. We notified them of the deficiencies and they said they would get out to fix it that following week. Approximately a month later we received an email that Chris was on vacation and he would take care of the issues upon his return. The issues were ultimately taken care of but not until we had other issues and this was closer to the end of April. 2. We had a rain/wind storm early April and water began dripping in from stove pipe penetration through the roof. We notified Chris immediately but didn't hear back from him until the next day. We were told that we needed to wait (2) weeks for repairs because they were renting a lift for another project and needed the lift to make the repairs. Thankfully rain was limited within the (2) weeks but as we got closer to them being on site we had a pretty heavy rain and water was now pouring in and dripping from the wood vaulted ceiling. The sense of urgency was not there and it took some not so nice calls to get the issue addressed right away. Still dreading every time it rains but fingers crossed the issue has been fixed. The leak took (3) days to correct. 3. We found birds in the stove and could hear them in the stove pipe so we reached out to Chris to discuss potentially changing out the pipe cap with one that has a bird stop. This time Chris didn't respond at all. We ended up calling Countryside Stove and Chimney to come out and change the pipe cap. We called on a Monday and the cap was changed by the end of that week. It was clear after working with Rambling Ranch that they are understaffed and take on too much work. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

Chris and his team did a great job on our stonework fireplace! What a nice job. They worked hard, were friendly, and left us with a prized piece of artwork. Thanks guys!
