Anytime that I have called they have been rude and never have any room, and then to ask for a donation in order for them to help a animal is inappropriate to me, and also I would love to know when you donate to pet supplies every time where does that money go to? Im just curious? And also I do understand how these shelters work I do know that they have to adopt animals out I. Order to take more but also why is it that you have to jump through so many hoops to adopt then? I’m sorry but we need more places and ppl that care as much as I about these stray cats around my area.

I adopted two wonderful cats last summer. The staff and volunteers were super helpful and knowledgeable about each cat and their personalities and issues. I was just recently called as a reference for a friend adopting cats and the staff member who called still remembered my girls a year later!

If i could give no stars i would Well found baby kittens mom abandoned them they were about 2 weeks old they would not take them and they gave us numbers that were not in service these guys are a joke when it comes to caring about animals needs a friend in Bradford took them and her momma cat took to them thank God as they were hungry thirsty. I am very disappointed for this rescue place this place should be shut down I have called the mayor and I did call the governor of ny as something need to be done about them not taking animals in need or professional help

We adopted Dax and Jack from this SPCA. The process was so easy and informative. Everyone there was so kind and helpful and we couldn’t be happier that they asked us to take both of them together. Getting to know their personalities has been so much fun. 🐈⬛❤️🐈

We adopted a dog, Apollo, from them on December 14, 2024. We were told two different stories as to why Apollo was returned to the SPCA after over a year of being in a home. On the evening of December 15, 2024 , Apollo attacked our other dog with absolutely no provocation from our other dog (she was sniffing the floor when he came in from outside and he went straight for her neck while she was sniffing). We had been following to the letter everything the SPCA suggested to integrate Apollo into our house. He was trying to kill our other dog by grabbing her by the throat and wasn't going to let go until she was dead. We messaged them that night about returning Apollo, and returned him the very next day. We were told he was going to be evaluated for behavior issue and go from there. We were also informed by the SPCA staff that our name was going to remain on Apollo's microchip account until he was adopted out again, regardless of the fact that we were no longer in possession of the dog. That was just another sign of how shady things were. We had a bill for over $2,000 for the vet for our dog because of what their dog did. We then see on facebook, a couple of weeks later, that Apollo was adopted, and my wife made the choice to comment thanking the SPCA for adopoting out a dog that gave our dog a form of PTSD that she may never recover from. The SPCA's response? They blocked my wife and deleted her comment because they didn't like it. They have made over $600 from this dog in adoption fees alone. Hope the new owners appreaciate the christmas gift of the collar he appeared to be wearing when he got adopted out for the third time. From what we can see in the picture, it's the one we bought for him.

Got a great cat from these people. Actually, my wife got the cat, it was the last cat she ever adopted as she had cancer. His name was storm, we changed it to Sunny.

Impossible to get a hold of. I have called numerous times during business hours, no answer and unable to leave a voicemail?
Emailed the president and vice president, no response.
To me, that is very odd.
