I remember coming here as a kid. Ohio got rid of all their Tops stores. I didn’t know they were still around until we came to New York lol. This is a huge & well stocked store. Lots of options. Clean. Employees were nice

Honestly I’m not sure what’s worse. The lack of urgency or the lack of smiles from the employees. Super long lines. One register open aside from self check out. A failure at every level. It’s not the employees fault. It looks like they were set up to fail. Not enough help on a hot summer day. Do better tops management.

I feel targeted during winter time because I wear a baggy coat. And I swear I get followed by employees. Not only that but watch the dates on what you buy. I swear they don’t have any good workers. Sad it used to be a nice place.

At 7:30pm on a Friday ONE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO SELF CHECKOUT!! ????????
I ABSOLUTELY DISPISE THEM AND I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ON SELF CHECKOUT. I will always be sure to be the loudest nastiest customer when I have to on purpose. It's ridiculous and stupid! Get real workers on the payroll instead of those stupid damn machines!

When this Tops 1st opened many years ago it was a great, Clean place to shop, with employees that seemed to care about having a job. It's really gone down hill and is dirty, I was there a few weeks ago and realized the same disgusting stuff was on the bathroom walls and floors. It doesn't look like the bathroom has been cleaned in a long time, just DISCUSTING! And I also noticed a few employees were dressed like they had old dirty, ripped pants on and dirty clothes. What happened to the management and Quality. It's like they just gave up and quit caring ans keep raising proces and less staff! The karts were all lined up in front blocking off the entrance way I was told it was so they could see who's coming in and out. Very strange ?. I won't go back shopping there, if the bathrooms that dirty and employees, hate to see the food areas?

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION RIGHT NOW! They are re-paving the parking lot. It is not marked where customers are safe to walk. I called the manager and asked him how people are supposed to enter and exit. He showed no concern for customers when I told him someone is going to get hurt. His response was "well that's on the paving company." Great attitude Manager!!

The one star is for the Tops potato salad, a salad that requires decent potatoes as the main ingredient something that TOPS has no concern for given the absolutely horrible potato they use to prepare their version. Word to the wise. Unless you're desperate do not buy the store brand of PS.

Their prices are higher than Wegmans. They need more organic foods in the Olean, NY store. They removed the seperate natural foods section making it more difficult to find those items. Also, it seems like everytime I find a product I like, they stop carrying it. The fuel station hours are not listed on the website or anywhere online, therefore I did not know that they close two hours earlier than the store and missed out on using my 450 gas points. I'll stop shopping there. I can rarely find what I'm looking for there anyway.

Came to purchase twisted tea. Had a valid pa drivers license, valid expiration date. Over 21 years old, as stated on license.
They refused to scan my id nor let me purchase the beverage because they did not recognize my id and stated I needed a specific 21 and older id to purchase. It was a valid id. Issued from the state of Pennsylvania. Does not expire for another year or two. I've used this id, it's been scanned, and I've used this id to purchase alcohol and marijuana from the state of NY.
It is COMPLETELY valid.
They still refused me service. Instead, my father had to come over and buy the alcohol for me. Which, if my ID was not valid, why would y'all allow my father to purchase the alcohol for me??
Came back. Read the policy because they stated that, "I get that you've purchased from other places, but this is just how we do things here."
But, y'all's policy states "with a new York Id or any other state issued license or from Canada."
So.... Because y'all didn't recognize my id, y'all assumed it was invalid and wrongly denied my purchase.
Please better inform your employees because what y'all did was wrong.

very clean with a huge selection of organic and healthy options!
Only reason this is 4 stars is because its a bit expensive here.
