I went in to Oneida HR Block with a simple tax return (literally just a w2 no investments) told a woman named Amanda I joined the military (air national guard) and wondered if that made a difference she said no and proceeded to file them charged me $164 just to walk out and find out that I could've done it on their website for free online because it was simple tax return and not only that I would have qualified for free tax services through OneSource because I am in the military. Absolutely astounding disrespect to someone who is serving the country, could have easily told me that I could do it online, but didn't say a SINGLE WORD. I don't know if they capitalize off of people who don't know about their deals or what but I can say one thing, she legally robbed a member of the military for possibly NO REASON. Incredibly sad, I will not be back.
