“Highly recommend Monser Brothers. I needed work done pretty often on my 2000 Toyota, and they were always able to get me in quickly and for a very fair price (sometimes even more than fair for a consistent customer). They got me in the week of Thanksgiving to repair an exhaust leak (for free), even as I told them I would be selling the car and moving out of the area. An extremely trustworthy business.”

“I took my truck to Nate with a misfire and antifreeze loss. He evaluated the problems and found blown intake gasket and failed coil pack. He even gave an honest assessment that the intake gasket was NOT worth repairing due to multiple other issues he found. He fixed the coil pack so I could nurse it along while searching for another vehicle. Love the honesty and highly recommend Nate's Tire and Auto for all your service needs.”

“I recently had car trouble while visiting Oneonta and looked up a mechanic to bring the car to for a quick check. I chose Thetford's because of the positive reviews and because they were "open" 24 hours/day. When I called, they were courteous and available so I took my care there. They fixed a minor problem and discovered a much bigger problem that made my car unsafe to drive. Ryan and Brian really took care of me, explained and showed me the issue and made suggestions of what to do to get the car home. The next day I realized it was too risky to make the 3.5 hour drive home so I called and decided to have them flatbed the car all the way home. My daughter and I drove in the cab with Ryan who was not only a true professional but also a pleasant riding companion! I cannot say enough good things about this business and Ryan and Brian who helped me get home safely. Any parents of Oneonta students experiencing car trouble and looking for a local mechanic, look no further!”

“Perfection in a mechanic. I never thought I would be able to say that, but I’ve never had such a smooth pleasant experience with a mechanic. We had a little accident in a recent ice storm with an older car (2006 Volvo). I was sure she was a goner, but McCarthy tire had us back out on the road quickly and without any headaches. The alignment is perfect and they threw in our new headlamps without even charging. Being an older vehicle, there were a few unexpected repairs that had to be done to properly get our wheels back to a perfect alignment. As these issues were discovered along the way, they were quickly and clearly communicated to me and everything was explained so that I completely understood why we needed to complete them. Mariano and Pat or Pete. (Sorry, I can’t remember) are absolute gems. I appreciate you guys. Thank you so much”

Matthew Huestis sold me my very first Honda although at the time I was unsure he reassured me that I would be making the best decision by switching to a Honda he was absolutely correct. He was patient with me kind to me and listened to all of my pros and cons about trading in my Chevy which I'm glad I did. He answered all my questions and was honest and caring. The day I left the lot with my Honda going forward that is the only thing I will ever own thanks to Matt.”

“On my way home from Elmira NY to Watervliet NY about a 3hr drive. My van broke down on a Sunday. By stroke of luck or a blessing from above I was able to make it to this garage that I Googled closest to me. I left a note with my key fab and prayed for the best. Monday morning I reach out. He tells me he's pretty busy today but will try his best to work it in. By the end ofbthe day he called me and diagnosed the problem. Finished up the very next morning by 10am. He was very thorough, and broke everything down for me. I was expecting a huge bill and ended up being less than what he originally quoted me. I was extremely happy with his customer service, timely work, and how thorough he was. I don't live in Morris but if I did, this garage would be where I took my vehicles. Thank you Morris Garage for squeezing me in and getting me omw!”

“I had a flat tire. So I took the old tire off and i wanted to buy another tire and have it put back on the rim. I was stranded. Walmart told me they could get me an appointment in a week. I got the same run around from everyone. But mr tire when they heard i was stranded quickly helped me. I am very grateful to the people who are super helpful and kind. Great job Mr tire you have made a lifelong customer.”

“Our vehicle overheated and we broke down while our son had a baseball tournament all weekend in Cooperstown. I originally had it towed to the dealer and they said they could fit me in 10 days later. I called another garage and they said 8. I called Lou's and he said he could squeeze me in that day or at most the next. I had the vehicle towed over and he stuck to his word. He was able to look at it and replace our water pump and brakes. The total bill was way lower than I expected and certainly much cheaper than the dealer. They also insisted on showing me the parts they replaced even though it wasn't necessary but a total trustworthy gesture. If I lived near here I would never go anywhere else. They were absolute life savers as we were also moving out of state the following weekend. So definitely consider them for your repairs!”
