Deer Haven Campground & Cabins is a family owned facility. It is a beautiful, peaceful, and very clean place with well-maintained sites, cabins, pool, and grounds. The location is amazing, convenient, and very close to Cooperstown All Star Village, perfect for those attending tournaments. It offers a beautiful view and is great for families. The owners are super nice, helpful, genuine, and go out of their way to ensure a positive experience. Some guests note the reservation system can be a challenge. While mostly peaceful, some noise from other guests can occur. Overall, it is an excellent experience and a favorite place to stay in the area.

We loved everything about Deer Haven, with one exception - the mattresses are beyond uncomfortable. I hope that the new owners invest in some higher quality bedding, because the whole campground is absolutely lovely. Always a great place to relax.

Family owned facility. Neat and clean. Well maintained. In spite of a plethora of rules they allowed some guests to play music too loud during normal hours impacting the peace for other campers. The location was the reason for our visit very close to All Star Village.
