“My favorite local liquor store. I'm always surprised if I can't find what I'm looking for. And, quite often, they can order it I love browsing the wine selection and there's a generous discount on cases of wine - does not have to be all the same so you can mix it up for a wonderful variety.”

“On your way to Cooperstown? Looking for Whiskey in Central New York? Look no further than Best Wine and Spirits. The selection of Bourbon, Scotch and Irish Whiskey is superb, Sharon is super helpful, and you will find bottles here that aren't available anywhere else.”

“So, I went with my fiancé, we were visiting town and wanted to have coffee. Lattes to be more specific. So we found this "café" we didn't see lattes in the menu so I asked the waitress "do you serve lattes?" and to my surprise she said "no". Lol I know I must have had a dumbfounded look on my face. Anyhow we decided to order the fried plantains, it's an appetizer dish and a couple draft beers. The plantains were delicious. A must try if you come here. I can't really rate the food besides that cause all we tried were the fried plantains. I gave it 4 stars because personally I think cafes should have lattes and more coffee drinks, idk, just my opinion. Service was great the host and the waitress were very pleasant and the place looks nice.”

“Newly-built, spanking clean and bright, Social Eats is a welcome entry to the Oneonta dining scene. They have their own parking, so none of the usual worries about finding a parking spot. And the staff couldn't be more friendly. They have only been open a couple of weeks, but they already have a hydrangea and buddleia garden out back, with tables that allow you to dine alfresco. We ordered coffee, which was outstanding, even though it was the plainest coffee choice on offer. You can, if you want, go for the latte, or the cappucino, etc. I ordered a $10.95 "Social Eats BLT" with seriously garlicky aioli, while my partner enjoyed the "Havartist," a roast turkey sandwich with molten Havarti cheese. These delicious sandwiches came with a generous green salad on the side. We splurged, too, on a basket of fries. In short, we ate too much to enjoy any of the tasty-looking pastries on display at the counter. We'll have to save that for next time...”

“I was in the strong mood for a good whiskey and I found a very excellent whiskey cream blend I will be purchasing again soon. Pyramid Liquor has a very clean and smooth ambience that I found very appealing. This was my second time there and the second time has me very interested in becoming a regular patron of Pyramid Liquor Store.”
