Petco Dog Training
5006 NY-23 Suite 1b, OneontaI have heard bad reviews about Petcos grooming services in the past. They are SO very wrong! Not only was Amanda amazing with my very skittish golden Retriever (those of you who know... know)! Her customer service with me was beyond compare! She went above & beyond when she could have just said "tuff luck" for my lack of preparation! My boy looks and SMELLS amazing & he was very happy with his spa day! Thanks Petco & specifically Amanda!

Pet Sitting & Training

Hillside Kennels
3746 NY-23, OneontaWe LOVE Hillside Kennels. They were recommended to us by our vet. We boarded our 2 dogs, Benji (2yr old GSD) and Freya (3yr old pitbull), over the weekend while we were on vacation. We were running late and they stayed open late for us so we could still board them, they gave them their kennel cough vaccinations for $25 each and made sure they got their nexguard in their food that night. I called on Saturday to check in on the dogs and they immediately knew who I was calling about and we’re happy to give me updates on how they were doing. When we picked them up this morning they were very nice and said they did amazing, albeit they had a short outburst with some other dogs for a bit. We noticed when we got home that they had given them baths and clipped their nails for us for free. We honestly cannot recommend Hillside Kennels more. They are amazing and we’ll definitely be using them in the future. We’re even considering doggy daycare 3 days a week. Thank you Hillside Kennels!

Social Eats Café - Project 607
546 Main St, OneontaMy favorite restaurant in Oneonta! There's food for everyone, whether you're looking for a healthy salad or a hearty meal. It can get crowded during peak season, but service is always great. Although there are quick options, it is primarily a sit-down, table service restaurant, and it strikes the perfect balance between a casual cafe and a more formal affair. During the winter, you'll see people hanging out with laptops; it's a great place to work with solid Wi-Fi. Speed test: 782 Mbps down, 35 Mbps up. This is the kind of restaurant where anything you order is going to taste amazing. The more exotic it sounds, the better it will be. The usual fare is also great, so it's a safe place to take a group that has a mix of adventurous and picky eaters.
