The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Oneonta is a well-rounded place with a very useful variety of items. It offers an interesting grouping of diverse materials, from clothing and toys to books, electronics, kitchenware, and housewares. The store reliably provides affordable and good-quality clothing and has expanded its furniture and larger housewares. Merchandise is constantly changed out. The employees are nice and enthusiastic, and the manager is very helpful. Proceeds from sales fund the organization's Adult Rehabilitation Centers. A noted problem is the significant lack of parking. The store also has only one changing room, and prices have increased due to inflation.
Sometimes I can't find anything I am interested in buying, but most of the time I find an inexpensive clothing item or trinket to thrift. Great place to buy gently used children's clothing still in great shape since we know how fast they can outgrow them!

The staff here work really hard at maintaining organization. Everything is organized by size which is so helpful. It's a pretty big store and has very friendly staff! This is one of my favorite thrift stores!
