I love Bank on Buffalo BUT......if your hours are until 5pm as stated please do not lock them at 4:50. People are rushing to get there by 5pm only to find the doors closed/locked before 5pm.

My wife and I could not be more happy with the results we got on our refi. We worked with Sheri M and she is absolutely amazing. If you need a loan or a great bank to move to I highly recommend giving them a call. Props to Sheri for taking such good care of us and making everything so simple!!!

Recently switched from Key Bank and could not be happier with the switch. Sheri is absolutely great to work with along with the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend this bank to anyone looking for customer first bank.

It is unfortunate, really, that an organization that prides itself on helping those in our city by having it a part of their own namesake, is terrible at basic customer service. I reached out to get someone to speak to I'm regard to some form of a small business loan. Truth be told, I am still learning about them and after seeing the commercials, I thought my best chance was with them. I did get a response and an ask to call. The timing was off since I still work full time so I responded. No answer until the following day. Then the response was to call at a certain time. So I did....and did....and did. Then left a message. No call back. Next day, I received an apology and they asked to call again. I had a vendor call at the time given so I asked for their availability. No response. Where I am probably not qualified to get a loan for a start up, I still wanted to understand my options. I am sure the VP that ghosted me saw a waste of time so why would she bother? Well, I suppose I'll move on to another bank or another option but in the meantime, it is my duty to inform you all that there are better options out there for banking. Don't buy in to the commercials - it's creative marketing and sadly misleading. Hate to say it but we all have much better luck with the national banks - which bums me out to even say.

After the move from Bank of Akron to Bank on Buffalo I am a very unhappy customer. The app is horrible and hard to understand. I never know what my actual balance is. Charges are labeled incorrectly leading to confusion. After 2 hours of trying to dispute a charge with another company Bank on Buffalo explains that the charge is labeled wrong and is actually something else. Then when on the phone with bank on buffalo the woman had attitude and talked down to me. When explaining I didn't understand since Bank of Akron was different she stated "Oh, your a bank of Akron customer. That explains it" as if all bank of Akron customer are d**** As soon as I switch my direct deposit to my KeyBank account I will be closing my account with this new Bank on Buffalo.

I need to update. Bank on Buffalo has added an online application for checking. They also pay interest, minimal, but they pay. Truth be told I was very snarky with the person who was assigned to handle my account. He maintained composure and all is well. Seems like a good deal. I also received "FREE" checks!!! I will never use them however I don't believe that anyone else provides them. $50.00 to start an account. When I attempted to deal with them previously I believe they were working out the kinks. All seems fine now.
