Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked a car, got an email saying a car has been reserved for me, spent $30 on an uber just for them to say no car was available for me. Do not recommend using Hertz at all

Worst run car rental location of any car rental agency I have ever used. Twice, only two times and never again, I have showed up for my reservation and they have no available vehicles. First time opting to go to Enterprise next door. This time opting to coming back hours later. Truck was dirty with fire wood pieces throughout bed of the truck. Returned it on Wednesday, at the dealership across the street, as they have partnership and why I used them, called this office to confirm all was set. The rental place didnt pick it up from them for 2 days, until Friday. Very poorly run store

Tim and his team are very customer focused and professional. It is very easy to receive and return the rental at Hertz Orchard Park.

Was charged for gas when I shouldn’t have been. The gas tank was half full when I picked it up. I returned it nearly full and they had the nerve to charge me for gas. Tried to call the number and surprise surprise no way to get a human on the phone or talk to the place I rented from. This is the third bad experience. I do not recommend renting from hertz.

The two men that were working made it clearly known that they did not want to be there at all. The younger of the 2 waited on us. He was rude, wouldn't answer any questions we had about ezpass or the navigation screen which I asked about both and was told just to toss my ezpass into the rental and the navigation I was told to just use my phone. My mother is 68 years old and instead of letting her use the back stair case the guy told her to walk outside and down around the entire property to go through the door he'd perform we use instead of being courteous. Then the car. We were told we were getting a equinox and he brought a terrain that stunk of cigarettes and smoke so badly my mother had a massive headache every time we had to drive anywhere. There was zero parking and there is no leaving your car there while you rent. Again that was not advertised at all so thankfully I picked up the car with a companion because my car had to be driven back home.

Warning - Likely to not have a vehicle for you at this location....
I was handed the keys and as I was about to enter the vehicle, the store manager (Tim) said the car was no longer available and I could not take it. I had to incur $33 charge to get a Lyft home and am now left with no vehicle, wasted time and an upcoming business trip.
This is the second time this has occurred at this location. Be careful!

I reserved a rental through Exp on the 12/28 and I called them to make sure availability. He told me that they don’t have any car bcs they sent a lot of cars to the airport , so don’t come. Now I see still got charged $55.74.

If I could do ZERO stars it would be too much! I took an Uber that cost a penny because there were no cars available near my house only to arrive at the OP BRANCH, exhausted after an extremely stressful day to be told there are no cars available. I booked and confirmed online! The agent said that I should have called first! Since when? There was no manager available and no attempt to get me a car from their other branches or pay for an Uber to get another car! Hertz??? NEVER AGAIN!
