I had an extremely disturbing experience with this company, which towed my vehicle after the Orchard Park Police (who had my keys in their possession) forced me into a hospital on false reports,which I was immediately released from. My car was “impounded” less than half a mile away, in an ungated parking lot DIRECTLY across the street from my abusive ex who has a history of utilizing his law enforcement buddies to harass me, and left there overnight for about 15 hours.
When I picked it up, it was not in the same condition as when it was taken:
My brake lights, which worked fine during my inspection only 10 days earlier, were suddenly not working. There was no issue with them until this incident. This conveniently “corroborated” the police’s false reason for pulling me over.
My car, which had been driving smoothly, now required tire balancing and an alignment — damage consistent with improper towing or reckless handling.
The interior of my car had clearly been gone through: compartments were open, bags had been moved, and items were missing or altered.
The company’s involvement came after nearly two weeks of visible surveillance and harassment by OPPD and crisis services, and just minutes after the same police presence was spotted at my ex’s apartment complex, the person who provided the false reports with ill intentions.
This company may look kind and caring on the surface, but in practice they are little more than a tool for the police to harass and harm people. They had no concern that children ride in this car, and their actions have left me with hundreds of dollars, possibly thousands, in repairs while I’m already in a difficult financial situation.
It is sickening that a company would willingly participate in this kind of misconduct. I would strongly encourage anyone to avoid this business and support towing/repair companies that act ethically and responsibly instead of enabling abuse.

I started bringing our cars to Terry Young about 2 years ago. I always enjoy talking to the guys there, and they have been nothing but fair, honest, reasonable and accommodating. I genuinely trust Terry and his team and don't imagine we'll ever take our cars anywhere else.

Some people are artists. Some are chefs. Some are mechanics. Terry young is a pillar of decency,respect,and compassion. This review comes after doing a lot of business with these gentleman. You do the same. Bring your bmw for a tune up. Bring your ford for a new engine.
