I LOVE Tamisha and Chris! They are a family owned small business and LOVE dogs...all sizes, types, and breeds. They genuinely care about the well being of "their" pups when your fur baby is in their care and go above and beyond to make sure all their and your needs are being taken care of! My two dogs are with them 5 days a week for 6 hours a day for fun and play while I get things done and I feel so good and relieved knowing they are in good care and are having a happy and joyful day with other doggies!

I can not say enough about Metro Pups!! They are just so caring & loving to our babies. Let’s face it that’s what they are & if you feel that way you never ever have any worries about how well they treat the dogs & make sure they are safe. I have a little chihuahua that in my head is my little fury daughter & I only wish I could take her there every single day. It brings tears to my eyes to say unfortunately I can not but once all this mess clears up I will like before take her there at least once a week!! I’ve had her boarded there for a couple of days & nights. She was as well taken care of as if she was with me and that’s saying a lot! God bless Tamisha & Chris for being who they are. They’ve become family I only only so much wish I can do more!! I love you Tamisha & Chris ❤️

My dog loves Tamisha and Chris so much... when we arrive at Metro Pups she drags me all the way from the car to their door. My favorite thing about Metro Pups is how much they care about the dogs - their safety, and their well-being. My dog is basically my child and they get that and treat her as such.

We could not be happier with our experience with Metro Pups ! Our dog absolutely loves going there (he will pull through the parking lot up until he is inside). We use them for doggie day care and have also used them for boarding - all great ! Tamisha and Chris could not love our dog (and all the dogs there) more and it shows ! We love Metro Pups !!

Tamisha creates the best possible environment for her doggy clientele, and make their owners feel great about leaving their dogs at Metro Pups! This month they are moving to a bigger location, but still conveniently located by the Ossining train station. You can try them for Free and see if this place is a good fit for your dog.

The positive reviews on Yelp inspired me to bring my dog, a 16-lb. Chihuahua Shiba Inu mix named Sam, for a grooming at Metro Pups. The booking experience on the phone was pleasant enough. I made sure to explain that he is a heavy shedder given his Shiba background and needed a very good brushing out. However, after spending 1.5 hours at their shop, my dog looked clean but curiously thick-haired, and hair was falling off of him with every step. I took him home and took my brush to him (the small Ferminator meant for his breed type and size, one that I've been using successfully on him for the six years I've had him), and clumps of his undercoat began coming off. I called Metro Pups and they told me to bring him back for another brushing, but when I did, they got incredibly defensive. They told me their "commercial methodology" - blow-drying my dog as a way to de-shed him and then taking what I saw was a fairly wide-toothed comb to him - was better than mine, and that I should expect him to shed after their de-shedding methods. They even told me that yes, it does sound counter-intuitive, but that's how it is. Among the excuses: I was told that I don't know my own dog, that my brushing methods all these years are wrong, and that my dog will always shed. Oh, they also told me his hair is falling off because he is "excited." Having had Sam for six years, I know he will *always* shed, but also know from my own thorough brushings of him, and from taking him to other groomers, what a good, proper brushing looks like. This was not it. I left Metro Pups and spent 30 minutes brushing Sam, yielding a beach ball-sized pile of hair - I took a picture after I threw half of it out, but have attached here a bit of what I took off. It's clear that they did not take the time to properly brush my dog, or if they did, used methods that are not up to par. Including tip, that's $62 hard-earned dollars, plus my time, down the drain. I would not recommend this place if you expect a thorough brushing / de-shedding of your pup.

Took our furry one for a well deserved and greatly needed grooming. Went on a whim cause they were close to home and have to say I was so happy to meet the team. They all greeted us with joy and made our dog feel welcomed. The professional groomer they have was so sweet she even gave her a sweet bow. A great place for grooming and day care.

Second visit to Metro Pups for a groom for my blind cockapoo. Absolutely highly recommend Metro Pups! Very caring and friendly. My dog being blind makes her a little skittish but she loves it there. The people who own and run Metro Pups REALLY CARE about the animals. They have a doggie day care and the dogs there are great...especially Peanut...the Great Dane. Would not hesitate to board or daycare my Mindee there.

Friendly Service. Immaculately clean facility. As you enter the place it smells fresh and the dogs come to greet you making a happy ruckus.
